I guess my post that bumped this didn't get posted. Grr!
Anyway, I had originally posted that I'm getting fed up with people posting on facebook the day someone dies, who is not famous. It more bothers me about relatives. Like Tuesday, my mom forgot to tell me that my aunt died that morning. It was expected. But, I found out via my sister that night who posted it on Facebook. I also heard of someone finding out about a sibling's passing that way first. People can post that stuff if they want, but it would be nice if people waited sometimes so that maybe important people can find out first and not from Facebook.
Gawd! Jane..you are ME!
I second that Tim Gunn!!! Butch up just a TAD, Tim. It's not 1975! Chris Tucker makes me collapse to the floor like a taser.
Wendy IS creepy. (I was convinced she was really a man til I got close enough to her once.)
KLG...don't have to say more.

haha, Wendy has NO NOSE. IN fact, her face looks like it has had every single procedure known to man!
Time to bump this thread again.
I'm tired of people who voice their opinions on a matter and it looks like they don't watch or read any news. Like someone today on Facebook was complaining about Obama, of course, and suggested he take a pay cut. Too bad he already did and that was from days ago.
Lol, what an idiot. You should post this link on his feed:

It's no wonder the USPS is going out of business!
I arrived at the Post Office at 3pm.
I had an Express Mail envelope that HAS to be delivered tomorrow.
There wasn't a single form to be found on any of the tables, and the line for the windows stretched around every turn of the ropes-line -- because each person's time at the window took forever while they filled out the forms they could have filled out while standing on line!!
The moment I got on the line I asked the 'floating' Post Office worker if my Express Mail would absolutely be delivered on Saturday, and he assured me it would.
Over an hour later I arrived at the window, filled out the form, only to be told that I was too late to get the last overnight delivery, and that my package would be delivered on Tuesday! I asked for a Supervisor, who took another 10 minutes to get to my window, and she said that I was 'too late'. When I explained that I'd been IN THE POST OFFICE AND ON LINE since 3pm she just shrugged and said there wasn't anything she could do.
I took my envelope and walked down the street to Federal Express, where it is now happily on it's way for a Saturday delivery.
I believe that, other than the unavoidable purchase of stamps, my business with the USPS is over. I shall use any other mail service I can find in the future.
AAARGH. What a waste of time.
ps - reading through this thread again made me laugh.
Yes it is funny.
That must have been frustrating. Oddly, it's UPS around where I live that is horrible. Granted, I live in a small area, so I have never experienced horrible lines or poor customer service.
Addy, I feel your frustration. And here's the part that kills me. Neither you nor I would ever be able to come even close at our place of employment (and not that it should be tolerated). That's what gets me about opposing political parties constantly going after the other for the failures (i.e., the current health care website issues). Work the f*ck together and figure it out!! Because if I refused to work with someone, or just didn't feel like doing something, my ass would be fired.
I had forgotten about this thread. It's a fun read. Sorry about your USPS dilemma Addy, they are the absolute worst.
A friend from high school that I have been kind of keeping my distance from has totally gone off the deep end and is officially on my life ignore list now.
My 10 year high school reunion is this Saturday and I am going. She replied to the invitation last night and started public drama about it. She isn't going because where we're having it is against her morals, like she's a vegan and doesn't drink and it's at a restaurant with a bar. She said she wouldn't feel comfortable in a place like that. But, then she had to insult the planners and tell them that they didn't invite everyone from the class. We were a class of over 200, so I get maybe some people being forgotten. Or maybe some of these people didn't respond to facebook requests for their email or phone number. Or maybe some of them don't want to be found. Who knows.
Then she proceeded to try to shill the class reunion she has been trying to plan for months now that has not happened because nobody is interested in going. That one was supposed to be at our high school with only her approved sort of food and her running the whole thing. I refuse to go to that. I mean, we're 28-29 years old. Who wants to go to a function like we're in high school still?
One of the planners did respond to her and that's all that was needed. They were not rude to her at all, but did explain that she didn't offer to help them with the one for Saturday.
So, the ice has broken. I refuse to respond to any emails she sends me or give her more detailed contact information. There was no need to bring her problems to the public. It also made me realize what a narcissist she still is.
