Thanks for looking, but it is a totally different fair. The one I'm talking about is more commonly known as the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show. I probably should have just said it was that so there would be no confusion.

That's actually last year's information because it says the 2009 fair. LOL! I think that is also just general passes into it. I just contacted someone I know about this because I totally forgot that he has connections to the entertainment there. He is actually the reason I found out about this now and not later.

Good point. I think O-Town years ago is the reason they won't get any really popular acts back. That turned into a mess from what I understand, but it was partially their own stupidity.

I have no idea if I'm the only person who finds this rude, but I saw it happen at both Promises, Promises, and La Cage Aux Folles this week. The mezzanine and balcony were not completely full, leaving plenty of empty rows and spaces. Obviously, I can assume the shows were not sold out. However, when the lights went down, people started moving forward. The ushers did not tell us that we could. I mean, what if these people all just took up seats from people who were late? Plus, it was distracting to watch these people fill in or leave.

And eww to the guys who took their shoes off in the front row at God of Carnage. I mean, really? We aren't at home watching television. There is a reason why most places require shirts and shoes.

Shut up to stupid airline frequent flier programs that never actually let you redeem miles.

And to getting the wrong information from a customer service person, which completely derails plans being made.

ME: When will the bonus miles deposit into my account?
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Within 24-48 hours.
ME: So, I'll be able to use them toward the tickets I'm trying to book with the reservation I have on a 48-hour hold?
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Yes. You'll be fine.

Notice when confirming tickets on website:
You don't have enough miles to complete this transaction.

Another call to Customer Service.
After a long explanation of the conversation I had earlier (including the person's name who gave me the info):

NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE: We're very sorry, but the bonus miles don't become available until after the promotion period ends. Which is June 30th. And then it will take 6-8 weeks for them to be deposited into your account.
ME: The promotion was for SUMMER TRAVEL. It entices us to transfer miles, receive 25% bonus miles, to use for SUMMER TRAVEL. How do I make summer travel plans if the miles aren't available until possibly after August 30th?
NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE: You can plan something last minute.

At a matinee performance the WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? revival that I attended, a woman in the front row put her feet up on the stage during the performance. And I mean right on the lip of the stage, her heels arched up. I still can't believe it.

SHUT UP to lousy customer service.

When I pay for rush delivery, I want it to be delivered the day it's expected!

When I order something that has a photo on the website, I want it to look exactly like the item in the picture. Not a bad approximation.

When I stupidly trust a website I've never heard of before (but appeared to have exactly what I was looking for), I need to be told to have my head examined.

Lessons learned but I just want to yell Shut Up!

I feel bad for my sister and brother-in-law. They live in California right now, and they were coming home for Christmas this past Saturday. Somehow, the airline screwed up and their boarding passes or whatever didn't work. They didn't get on their original flight, and ended up waiting 10 hours in the airport for the next flight.

Then, the same thing happened when they were boarding in Denver, and there was another person in the same situation too. It made no sense because they got this stuff from the airport they were just at. Fortunately, they made this flight to get home at 8am yesterday, when they were supposed to be home Saturday around 4pm.

So Pizza Hut is offering 15K to anyone who will ask Romney and Obama "pepperoni or sausage?" at the next town hall meeting. Anyone still wonder why this election process is a joke?

I guess my post that bumped this didn't get posted. Grr!

Anyway, I had originally posted that I'm getting fed up with people posting on facebook the day someone dies, who is not famous. It more bothers me about relatives. Like Tuesday, my mom forgot to tell me that my aunt died that morning. It was expected. But, I found out via my sister that night who posted it on Facebook. I also heard of someone finding out about a sibling's passing that way first. People can post that stuff if they want, but it would be nice if people waited sometimes so that maybe important people can find out first and not from Facebook.
