I was just thinking maybe that's what it was....
LOL...maybe. That would be amazing if it was what he was attempting to do.
It's very likely
*giggles*
It seems like a very...California thing to do. Or something.

It is completely Floridian. I can testify that I have seen my fair share of some scary *** dancing come from there...

Hey, I remember the move that you guys are thinking of!
Ha!
Ha, I wish I could've seen this dance move of Mano's. Skanking or not, I'm sure it was interesting.
Let's just say I'm glad it only lasted about five seconds, and that he returned to the hip... dance... thing, of which he is at least semi-capable. It's like the Raul dance, but a tad more... butch?

I would hope that Mano's dancing was more butch than Raul's.

(Thank you for the equal representation) You will be missed here, enjoy your stay elsewhere away from the BWW madness and relax for once! Byeeeeeeee

I think we could all use a vacation from BWW.
I hope you have fun wherever it is that you're going.
This is most likely too late (I just got my internet working), but I hope that you have a really great time.

*waves bye to Chica* Enjoy your time off, Chica!
Mano added 'Keep It Slow' to his myspace...music, thing.
I missed getting to say bye, but in case she checks back anytime: have a wonderful time, Chica!

Thanks for the alert, Mandi. I'm really liking Keep It Slow, but not as much as I love Don't Feed the Beast.

Thanks for the update, Mandi!
I'd say thanks to Chica for posting the link, but she probably won't see my post.
The songs are wonderful; I think Mano has a beautiful, clear voice. The lyrics and subject matter are impressive, too (Aah! He's a language geek! He's a mythology geek! ). His comments and explanations...great.
I particularly liked Another Day; The Odyssey is one of my favorite myths/epics (one of the few epics that I actually like). I probably like that myth because, as evidenced by so many writers, historians, poets, songwriters, it's quite versatile, very open to interpretation. Recently, I read Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad - it may be interesting to compare and contrast that with Another Day. I think Atwood's novel had a very cynical, realistic outlook; Mano, on the other hand, seems to be a bit of a romantic.
Er, I hope you guys don't mind my constant rambling.
