Posted: 4/4/06 at 4:10pmSueellen Grey, he went into the drug bust looking for blood. He got kicked in the nuts which he deserved, and you feel sorry for him? It was meant to be funny that he was clipping coupons with a $million sitting in the same room. He did not even want to share it with Carmela. And how about when he found out about his aunt and what he did to Jason Barone? Total psychopath. How can you consider feeling sorry for him.

Thank goodness I was not the only one that noticed the blood - definately a bad sign. I laughed at the bar scene though, completely because it's so not a real leather bar, At least - not one I have ever been in. Must be a Jersey thing - they are a bit more intense here in San Francisco. And NO dance floor! wtf?
So - do we think Vito is on the run? Looking for Sal to kill him? Thinking of suicide?

Posted: 4/10/06 at 9:36amI thought Vito was going to kill himself in the motel room. After watching every season of Queer as Folk, it's hard to believe that Vito would score at all in a gay bar.

I think the bar was very unrealistic, and his hat was too precious for this great show. That seemed badly staged to me. Great episode otherwise, I love Johnny Sac.
I am not at all convinced of the blood. Except for the fact that he is supposedly on a strict diet, it seemed to me to be italian food, perhaps (hate to be so graphic) and it was a gross, but great touch. Knowing he had to show strength, he took on the toughtest guy in the room.
I hope Vito's disappearence is more interesting than someone finding him dead in that hotel room...the coming attractions made it seem that he is missing. If he shot himself, wouldnt someone have found the body pretty quickly?

In a real leather bar, Vito would be major eye candy (Queer As Folk is a whole other kind of scene -- and no more realistic than that "leather bar" last night).
Here's an interesting article on the actor who plays Vito:

Posted: 4/10/06 at 11:31amI see the actor who plays Vito catching a bite at Paneantico in Bay Ridge frequently. He had a soup place there also but it wasn't successful and closed.

Doodle, I thought that too. If he had offed himself in the motel room, the maid would have found him in the morning and (I assume he had his wallet and ID with him since he'd have needed it to drive and check in at the motel) word would have gotten to Tony, Silvio and the others by afternoon. I think he's still alive and in hiding (maybe still in the motel), so this story line has a lot of potential in the next few episodes.
That article said that the real life gay Gambino family member remained as part of the family and was accepted on some level after he came out. It'll be interesting to see how Vito tells his wife and how the others handle the situation -- could make for some great scenes. I don't ever need to see him in a leather hat and harness again, though.

By the end of the season Vito will have opened a branch of his NH store in Caldwell, NJ. And the captains' wives will all be shopping there, but Paulie will still be pissed off.
That's my guess.

They threw in the intro of Meadow's new love interest, the young lawyer at the law firm.
But back to Vito...whatever happened to his car? Did they repair it? Will it find its way back to NJ to be sold for scrap parts, and that is what will ID his coordinates?
