While I don't agree with everything she has to say, the NY POST review (by Linda Stasi) of this past Sunday's episode is pretty funny. And I do agree that the show is way off its mark this season.

Good Tony/AJ scene.
I liked the way Tony couldn't go through with the adultery, and when he got home he was furious.
Excellent episode. One of the best so far this season. Just the right balance between family and "family". I agree Glebb. Excellent scene between Tony and A.J., and the scenes between Vito and "Johnny Cakes" were excellent, as well. Especially the one toward the end when Vito returns to the diner after their falling out, and admits that it's difficult to tell the truth when you've been lying to yourself for so long. Very poignant. As was their motorcycle get-a-way and romantic encounter. What I really have to laugh about is that certain fans of the series that wouldn't be caught dead going to see a movie like BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, are now watching a similar story line unfold on one of their favorite shows. Gotta love it!

I didn't see the episode but is Vito flirting with the cook from the diner?
It's gone beyond flirting!

I knew something like that was going to happen. The way the cook made him that breakfast on his first day in town, something seemed to click.
Well... you know what they say; "The way to a man's heart... "
The Vito story is so difficult for me to watch. I can't believe how ignorant even Meadow and her boyfriend are about sexuality.
It's painful for me to watch because I know that Vito will be killed. Unlike Furio and presumably "The Russian," he has not ventured far enough from Jersey to elude the people after his head. Moreover, his attachment to his pig of a wife just asks for a whacking.
I see. I know what you mean. It's like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Even sadder, in that he's slowly becoming more comfortable with who he is and is beginning to find some amount of happiness in his new skin.
I don't know--it seems like a huge waste of time to introduce a rather involved subplot for Vito only to kill him off; in an interview I read, it was the actor's idea for his character to be gay--he had read about an out mobster back in the day--so maybe they won't whack him--Tony seems to be against it. Perhaps his murder would set off a Godfather-esque series of whackings...
Here's a question: So is Tony just a great lay or does he have a huge penis or both? Cause I think he's sexy. And I think he's probably both.
re: Vito being killed off. It's possible they could write that in but we could be surprised. I hope that in this case, there's a just ending.

Oh, I think Vito is a dead man either way. If Tony doesn't off him to save face, Phil will get him.
It's funny...I have HATED Vito Spatafore all last season and most of this season...his stalking/terrifying Finn, his displeasure at Tony's recovery and of kicking up $$ to Carm, etc. But seeing him all relaxed in that quaint, accepting New England town, where he can live happily and openly, makes me want to see him left alone. He made a huge mistake in stealing the cell phone, though. I think that'll get him in the end. His stupid wife will stupidly tell Phil, tell him the name of the cell phone owner that showed up on Caller ID, Phil and his cronies will track down the guy, threaten him and find out where he was vacationing.
Still love Tony and Carm. Still hate their loathesome offspring.
Juliana Margulies looks gorgeous!
I hate Meadow and AJ too--where did the casting people find these jokers? They could at least LOOK like Tony and/or Carm. Too bad they didn't try to make Meadow a little Lavinia--how interesting could that have been? Who am I kidding? Like anyone can replace Nancy Marchand.
"Juliana Margulies looks gorgeous!"
Blue roses, you're so right. I had always thought she was attractive, but then I saw her in person when she was in the Vagina Monologues. She's absolutely stunning! The camera doesn't even do her justice~

Why is Vito's wife a pig? She seems like such a nice woman to me? Did I miss something?

I don't think she's a pig, but she's in that insular, old-school world where there's no greater shame than being a "fanocchio" (fanook). She said to Vito that she was reading online about churches that can convert him, that he can be changed, etc. Vito's a cold-blooded killer...to me, he's a thousand times the pig his wife is. I feel sorry for her. She is in an impossible situation, and it has to be painful to find out you have been living a lie with someone for all of these years. It was good to see that Vito realized he did cause her pain, and that he was anguished about it (though he STUPIDLY stole the cell phone!), and is still trying to help provide for her.
LOL! That Mrs. Conti's got some mouth on her.
LOL - just saw the Mrs. Conti scene again.
How many times is she going to use the F word.
I loved when Lauren Bacall cursed too.
Great show.
Well, no old ladies cursing yet but I'm liking this episode.

Anyone else see Tony becoming a father again? Just the last scene with Janice's daughter and the conversation with Melfi about boredom...makes me wonder. Only three episode of this season left.
I thought for sure Tony was going to drop that baby. whew, thank goodness he didn't. that last scene was so touching. amazing.
