The soundtrack to Run Lola Run is excellent.
LOL I was JUST gonna say Madonna's new album, specifically tracks 1,2 and 3. It will pump you up. Also, Ray of Light has some high-energy stuff.
Also, i like Mr. Brightside from The Killers
A few tracks by Jay-Z
Anything by VHS or Beta
But honestly, you can't go wrong with most Madonna albums.
OH! I have a playlist I made yesterday!

There is NOOOOO Madonna on your list, Aigoo!!!!
It's true--Britney uptempo is great workout music.
Also, remixes of Whitney and Mariah. OMG. This is turning into a confessions thread!
Usually anything but ballads work for me. But that's really because I'm too lazy to come up with a gym playlist.
I keep the ballads for cooldown/stretching.
I also love Bollywood, but then, I would.
Jerby, I had Madonna, but someone already mentioned her anyway. I hate to be redundant.
I have a playlist called "The Complete Moulin Rouge" that includes both of the soundtracks that were released. Hit shuffle and off you go!
Thanks Jerby, but is my versatility another one of your fantasies?!?
I have a workout cd of showtunes... yeaaaah, I'm a nerd:
Big Spender
Cellblock Tango
Climbing Uphill
Cooties
Da-Doo
Dentist!
Goodbye (Anthony Rapp)
Great Big Stuff
Today 4 U
His Name is Lancelot
I Speak 6 Languages
Laker Girls Cheer
My Strongest Suit
Out Tonight
Son of Great Big Stuff
Summer Nights
The Money Song
The Nicest Kids in Town
Rent
What is This Feeling?
You Can't Stop the Beat
not to mention, you can mix songs from Madonna's last three cds for a good workout mix....

haha, I was going to say Madonna's CD.
I also like listening to some Rocket Summer songs...they're a kinda small band, I think...so you may have not heard of them.
I stopped using my workout playlist because I used it too much--so it was getting kinda old. I had a lot of RENT on there.
I Believe In A Thing Called Love-The Darkness
A Favor House Atlantic-Coheed and Cambria
Cruel Summer-Ace of Base
Normal Like You-Everclear
Just a few.
I was going to make a thread about this when I finished working out today...lol, but it was already made. Good thread.

Oh, and I just worked out to El Distorto De Melodica by Everclear.
INTENSE song. No words.
WOOOT.
Funny I was running today and put on t.A.T.u - 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane. Techno pop...great for running.
