I heard mentioned on Broadway Radio's podcast today that there will be a 10 am embargo today.

What could it be? Moulin Rouge?

I'm utterly confused. An embargo on what? What about Moulin Rouge would call for an embargo on something? Why 10am? What am I missing here?

An "Embargo"? What does that have to do with the show? Are you saying someone is looking to ban/stop the show?

A "press" embargo is when all media outlets can post about a press release.

For example, when GLOW was renewed for Season 3 the other day. All media outlets posted about it at the exact time.

But a press embargo, by its very nature, means a BAN on publishing. So you mean that an embargo will END at 10am?

A press embargo keeps info from realeased until a certain time, news sources can realease any time after that.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It sounds like they recorded the news, but then realized the embargo was in place until 10 am and edited out the portion of the podcast until they reuploaded at 10 am.
