Exciting! I have nothing else to do that day...perhaps I'll get up early and get a ticket! Anyone who did a similar thing for Bloody Bloody, do you know what time people began lining up?

This is great news! I just hope I can escape work long enough to grab some tickets on a break since I will be working in Times Square anyhow. How are the balcony seats at the Lyceum? I have only been there once for TOS and sat in the orchestra. The price on this one is just too good to pass up!

Is there a ticket limit? The press release doesn't mention one. I know that for BLOODY BLOODY each person could only purchase two tickets. I wonder if that is the same situation here.

I might just skip high school orientation for this. I'm hoping that many shows opening this season will continue this trend, because all of them are on my "to see" list, but I'd never find space in my budget for them, and I'm sure the shows are totally worth missing a class or two once in a while to do this stuff.

In case anyone was curious, I got to the Lyceum this morning at 10:30, the line was pretty short, maybe 25 people. (It went to the end of O'Lunney's pub and stopped right before the construction area.) It moved incredibly slowly however, as it was after 11:30 when I got my tickets. I don't know what the deal was with the line being so slow. There were two women in front of me who, no joke, took 10 minutes to buy their seats. I got 4th row center Mezz for the first preview, so there are definitely still seats available.

They were taking forever. I was fourth in line and it still took a while for the box office to process each request. Plus there was a bit of a stink because the man who was first in line was there at 6 am and the woman who told him about it arrived around 9 or maybe later and took her place in the front of the line with him. The two of them weren't booking tickets together so it was kind of obnoxious for her to show up and skip the entire line and then get an attitude when the girl in front of me tried to call her out on it.

can't get there today. maybe they'll extend the offer? great idea, by the way. hopefully other new shows in the future will do something similar.

It was indeed a ridiculously slow line...which I didn't get because once I got to the window, the transaction was quick. Glad they ran that deal today. Can't wait until October 7th!!!!

I got there at 9:45am and didn't even get up to the window until 11:15am. Anyway, despite the incredibly slow line, I'm so glad for the cheap tickets. With Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and now Scottsboro Boys doing this (cheap tickets on the day of the BO opening), I hope more shows follow suit.
