Getting worried about Phantom tour. Sad to see it go but CamMac said in summer 2015 that it would run another 4 years. Glad that I was able to get into that show thanks to one of my all time favorite singers playing the title role . I know most people on here haven't cared for that production though .

Not going to lie, bit disappointed. Wish we got JCS or My Fair Lady or OOTI instead of Fiddler or Cats, but I've never seen either so I am willing to give them a try. Only shows that get me excited are Come From Away and The Band's Visit."
The Band's Visit is much better suited for the Colonial. Aside from that, there are a handful of shows that I haven't seen on Broadway, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity to catch them here instead!

Odd they didn't announce the dates for Detroit."
the months are listed on the website
I saw that just odd they don't list the exact dates. Everyone else does and it's not like they don't know.
The absolute highlight of tonight’s announcement event was that they had flown in five members of the band from The Band’s Visit to perform. They did several pieces and then an ad lib with the audience clapping in rhythm to the beat of the drummer doing a solo.
Wonderful evening with Tim Rice and Jimmy Buffet making pre-taped appearances, and several guest singers performing songs from each of the shows.
At the final announcement of the regular season shows the ushers uncovered numerous huge bags full of little beach balls and they were tossed about all over.
Had a great time!

Pretty solid season and what I was kind of expecting. Was thinking we were going to get Escape To Margaritaville instead of Fiddler. Also didn’t expect Blue Man Group. Saw some pretty good performances tonight so I am glad I went to the event!

For Detroit if you go to their website and click on the season subscription page, it shows the dates

now what I find interesting is no photos or mention of Betty Buckley. Makes you wonder
After my initial disappointment of no JCS, My Fair Lady, or OOTI, I have to say I do really like Boston's seasons. A few classics I've never seen, new shows I'm excited for, Fiddler st the colonial, can't really complain! I'm excited!

I'm definitely one of those who did not care for the reworked production, but just wanted to say that I feel your pain - I know how disappointing it is when a show you love closes and you wonder if you'll "ever have that recipe again".

Disappointed overall, but will see Fiddler and possibly Anastasia.
The Orpheum in Phoenix will be having Bandstand so I am going to see that.....and possibly Finding Neverland. Sponge Bob and The Illusionists is also going to be there.....not attending those.
