Thursday May 1 matinee?
 Apr 13 2025, 05:19:37 PM

I appreciate this post. I have tickets to the May 1 matinee and haven’t received an email yet. Someone on Reddit suggested it could be they took that date off as maybe they are using that matinee for Tony voters or something else and letting the other tickets stay as is. I am hoping for that. It is weird they notified all the other dates except May 1.

Glad to hear your thoughts on the show! Where were your seats for this? Also where would you recommend? Would 1st row Loge be ok?

For those who have seen the show and also seen other shows at The Golden theater: where would you recommend to get seats? I am thinking of splurging on this one and looking at seats in center orchestra row L.

Denzel Washington to return to Broadway in OTHELLO?

That’s awesome to hear. Do you mind sharing where the seats exactly are? I might have to look into this as I am going on in May.

A three show day?
 Sep 26 2024, 11:37:06 AM

I've done it twice and it was no problem at all:

March 2024 (Saturday) - Notebook at 2pm, Titanique at 5pm, Tommy at 8pm

July 2024 (Thursday) - Great Gatsby 2pm, Oh Mary at 5pm, Hell's Kitchen at 7pm

You can do Oh Mary at 5pm and easily catch a 7pm show and not be that rushed. I was out of Oh Mary by 6:35 and it was a short walk and I was at Hell's Kitchen by 6:40.

Quick question, if they did post a closing date, how soon would the actual date of closing be? I am going to be in New York in a few weeks and was thinking of seeing it on Wednesday June 5. Do you think they would close it that quickly?

Musical Performances on the 2023 Tony Awards
 Jun 11 2023, 12:27:32 PM

I feel doing KA doing Anagram would be a mistake. Sure it’s a good song but I don’t think that will do anything to convince the casual Broadway viewer to see the show. I feel the purpose of a Tony’s performance is to get people to want to see the show that haven’t already. This is why I think “This Time” would be the best choice. It’s upbeat and showcases the whole cast.

Lunt-Fontanne Seating Advice

Looking for advice for seating. I have 3 options: Center Orchestra Row S, Right Orchestra Row Q (seat 7), or Front Mezz row E seat 4. What do you guys think?

ALMOST FAMOUS On Broadway - P/reviews Thread
 Oct 17 2022, 08:22:51 PM

I saw this last Thursday and loved it. It is not a jukebox musical as some might think it is. Majority of the songs are original music with the exception of 3-4 songs. It is a fantastic adaptation of an incredible movie. I’m not going to say it’s better than the movie because it’s not. But let’s be clear and the original source is most likely always better than the adaptation. That being said it is still a great show. I might be biased as the movie is one of my all tim

I feel if you are going to quote the fomofeed on Instagram you should state what they said before they posted what they thought of the production. I can help with that: "I caught the first preview of this last night. A couple of cavets: I'm not typically a fan of commercial theater (I've tried! I really have). I'm a mild fan of the movie (it's an especially great one to watch on an airplace). I had extrememely low expectations going in."

So I really wouldn'

November 5-11th visit recommendations!
 Sep 23 2022, 11:15:37 PM

First off nice work planning to see Almost Famous! I think people are going to be very surprised by it. Saw it San Diego back in 2019 and it was spectacular. I am going to see it again next month. As for your other options: I saw Into The Woods, Beetlejuice, and Little Shop Of Horrors last month and all 3 were fantastic. I would definitely try to see Beetlejuice as both Alex Brightman and Elizabeth Teeter are amazing in it. If you can afford it Music Man is worth seeing too. Also I have heard

Moulin Rouge (pro) reviews

I saw both (Hadestown and Moulin Rouge) last Wednesday and loved both. They are both very different and that doesn’t mean one is more enjoyable than the other. I think it’s a great thing to see 2 shows and have a different great feeling for both. That is what entertainment is all about!
HADESTOWN SEATING?

Is it worth $50 more to sit I Orch row M in center opposed to row C in Mezz center?
HADESTOWN SEATING?
 Apr 16 2019, 11:15:22 PM

So I just noticed today that they have already started raising prices for shows in August. I want to get tickets before it’s too late. I am decided between 4 options:

MEZZR row A seat 10 for $159
MEZZC row C seat 107 for $159
ORCHR row R seat 1 for $135
MEZZR row E seat 2 for $129

Would obviously love to sit middle orchestra but I don’t want to spend over $200 which it is now. I am leaning towards MEZZR row A seat 10

A website I always refer to when looking for seats is A View From My Seat. Below is a link to the Al Hirschfield Theatre. I used this when purchasing tickets to this show and am sitting in Right Mezz Row G for $139 in August. Good luck and have fun!
