Haven't heard anything, but the majority of the cast is leaving in September.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I was just looking at the Mean Girls Schedule,I don't understand how a tour can make money by playing one night in some stops? How do they go from one place so quickly to another, which involves stripping out, travelling to the next venue and setting up all over again, some of the distances between venues is vast also - this must all be time consuming?
I also noticed in the schedule that there are only 2 stops in Florida, in West Palm Beach and Melbourne for 5 and 2 nights. I have seen in other tours there are other venues in Florida, where this tour could go, is there an embargo in some venues for non equity tours? I would have thought all those retirees in Florida would love to see tours in towns near them?
Anyone have insight as to when an official announcement is coming out for the Come From Away cast? This was on Instagram which seems a bit odd as I’ve seen no press release and rehearsals started today https://www.instagram.com/p/Cwxxel9uid2/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Looks like the JCS tour also started rehearsals today - the same Hell's Kitchen Agency page posted that Jack Hopewell will be playing Jesus again this year. Really strange that we had 3 tours start rehearsing today and none of them made cast announcements.

CFA should be any day this week. I know someone on the tour who was just cast
There are like 3 other people called Voter on here, FYI.

It’s fairly typical for national tours to use the first day of rehearsal as a photo call to announce the complete cast the next day. I expect we’ll be hearing lots of casting news tomorrow.

Mirvish Toronto has posted they will be announcing 8 shows in the upcoming weeks. Has anyone bears anything new and exciting that’s coming? Hadestown already announced a return. Thanks!

I know this is late, but I felt like answering your questions.
No, not all tours NETworks produces are non-equity. Beetlejuice, Funny Girl, Les Miserables, and To Kill a Mockingbird are their current equity tours.
Non-equity tours certainly can still make boat loads of money, even with one night stops. Bus truck tours will pack everything into one or two semi trucks, comparatively the lion king tour has something like a dozen trucks touring with it.
I believe the previous equity Mean Girls tour closed in Florida and visited 4 cities in the span of a month. It would be redundant for them to go back so soon. I don’t think they played the Miami area previously, so that explains why they’re in West Palm Beach.

My impression is that these are 8 bonus shows being added to the current season (so outside of the main subscription). So, I wouldn't expect anything too significant. Any of the big tours that we still haven't gotten, I would have to think will be coming via subscription (Frozen, Beetlejuice, Moulin Rouge, etc.). But crazier things have happened.
Apart from Hadestown returning in May, I do know Wicked is coming in June/July.
Also, I was just purusing the calendar on Mirvish's site. They have To Kill a Mockingbird returning for another week from May 29 - June 2.
I’m sure none of these are guaranteed, but Moulin Rouge will be in Toronto November/December of 2024.

Has anyone seen the current Come From Away tour? Curious to hear about any changes they made since they're not using the turntable.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

it's been non-equity since 2022.
