Hearing more and more rumours of Next to Normal (London) transferring to Broadway between January and March. Having seen this cast a few times, it could well become the frontrunner for best revival (by a lot).

Back in The Booth? Can't imagine this in any other theater and it would likely be a short run.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Agree that it would make sense there. Also agree it would probably be a short run more because of logistics than anything else.
Doubt the N2N run could be THAT short given the expected budget for a Broadway transfer.
Is the intention to transfer the entire British cast, or replace with some Americans? I recall some complaints here about Jamie Parker's performance.
And, as always, even a producer as prominent as David Stone does not get to choose his theater. This show could play well in any Shubert playhouse. It's all a matter of scheduling and the whims of Bob Wankel.

That's not really true. Producers like David Stone, Jeffrey Seller, Tom Kirdahy, Sonia Friedman, etc have much more of a say in their theatres than someone like Ken Davenport. Bob Wankel or Nick Scandalios or Kristin Caskey may very well go to Stone or Seller with 2-3 options to pick from-- whereas a Davenport would get a "take it or leave it" offer.
It always depends on the show and the specifics of a situation. A mega-star or a show with a LOT of box office potential will have much more flexibility from the owners than something like N2N.
The owners will of course take the budget needs into consideration as well.
If the most prominent producers got their choice of theater, then people like Rudin, Sonia, Kevin McCollum, Daryl Roth, Jeffrey Richards, Barbara Whitman, and Barry Weissler wouldn't have had shows at the Cort and Lyceum. Brian Moreland (still a minor figure) will no doubt get a greater say in a house for Denzel + Gyllenhaal in OTHELLO than Stone will get for N2N.
The point is, it doesn't matter and doesn't do us much good to speculate over what could play where.
"The Last Five Years" performances begin on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, and officially open on Sunday, April 6, 2025 for a strictly limited, 14-week-only engagement at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre."

It appears Elf is going back out on tour, so maybe it's not returning to Broadway.
