Robert Downey Jr. will make his Broadway debut in the new play McNeal. Previews begin September 5 before a September 30 opening at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre; it will run through November 24.

Darren Criss will return to Broadway in the new musical Maybe Happy Ending, beginning previews September 18 and opening October 17 at the Belasco Theatre.

A musical adaptation of Death Becomes Her begins previews October 23 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, before a November 21 official opening.

I have no insider knowledge, but I’m curious if the stranger things play will transfer in this season and how soon? The Phoenix theatre has a capacity of 1,012 patrons. All three of those houses are comparable in size to the Phoenix.

As the options dwindle, I’m hoping that a home’s been found for Swept Away.   There hasn’t been much word since the end of the DC run.

Are the options really dwindling though? Maybe for fall but not for spring. So many current new musicals will probably be gone in time for something else to open Spring 2025

Sutton Foster stars in a revival of Once Upon a Mattress, beginning previews July 31 before an August 12 opening at the Hudson Theatre; it is set to run through November 30.

An edgy revival of Romeo + Juliet, starring Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler, begins previews September 26 before an October 24 official opening at Circle in the Square Theatre; it will run through January 19.

The new play Job will play the Helen Hayes Theatre; previews begin July 15 before a July 30 opening, and it will run through September 29.

Here she is, world: after months of speculation, Audra McDonald will lead a revival of Gypsy at the Majestic Theatre. Previews begin November 21 and opening night is December 19.

Jez Butterworth’s new play The Hills of California begins previews September 11 before a September 29 opening; it will play a limited run at the Broadhurst Theatre.

A revival of the Adam Guettel musical Floyd Collins will play Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Previews begin March 27 before an official opening on April 21.

Is there any sort of rumor as to when it might play? Trying to pan a fall trip and my wife really wants to see this, so don't want to miss it. Was planning to go in early November
