Excited: Boop!, Good Night & Good Luck, Glengarry Glen Ross, Buena Vista Social Club
Interested for various reasons, but probably holding for buzz & reviews: Floyd Collins, Smash, Redwood, Real Women Have Curves, Pirates!,John Procter, Just in Time, hypothetically Othello but my GOD those ticket prices
Potentially Stranger Things - I don't really like the TV show but if the production is innovative and it's an original story where you don't need to know the canon then I'm intrigued
(And Eureka Day which I have a ticket for in early January - looking forward to a good laugh!)"
Saw Stranger Things in London having never seen an episode and I was enthralled. Some really gorgeous staging and stage magic. Would highly recommend."
Oh great to know, thank you! That’s what I was hoping. Always on board for great stage magic.

I'll be honest - I'm fascinated by the concept of an immersive Phantom. It'll either be a hit or a miss, but I give Webber big props for taking a swing like this. Sadly, I have a disability that can flare up at a moment's notice and I'm VERY nervous about seating accommodations (I don't need a special seat - but I do need a seat during flares and walking can be a challenge) - especially if the audience sizes will be 100-200 folks and it's not all a seated thing! My expectation is that the staging will be cool and an interesting experience, but it won't match the artistic excellence of the show as originally presented. I'm so fascinated by this new way to tell the story!
And hopefully Cats: The Jellicle Ball circles back to NYC, I was bummed to miss that.
There are certainly big shows later on in the year I'm excited for. But, right now the things getting I'm getting pumped for are all the smaller downtown shows, mainly Under the Radar and the Fringe Encore series. Show/Boat, 7th Voyage of Egon Tichey, Wonderful Joe, Dead as a Dodo, A Letter to Lyndon B. Johnson, and My Mother's Funeral all sound particularly exciting to me.
