3 Broadway wishes

Hello Everyone, I have a question for you. If you have 3 Broadway wishes, What would they be? My 3 wishes would be (If anyone asks) 1) I wish I could have seen "Aida" on Broadway, 2) I wish I could see a Broadway performer at Fierstein 54 below and 3) I wish that Broadway didn't get rid of the shows (Kinky Boots, "Beauty and the Beast" etc) that needed a second chance. So if you have any wishes you want to share. Feel free to reply.

Your wish for Aida made me think of this. I saw it on Broadway with most of the original cast. I only had a Saturday slot for either matinee or evening. I rushed matinee and got a ticket only to find out that both Heather and Adam were out. I exchanged my rush ticket for the evening and only Adam was out. Thankfully Heather was back in. I would have liked to have seen all three, but I wouldn't want to waste one of my wishes on that. I guess one of my wishes would be that I could attend any Broadway show without somebody's actions either distracting me or getting on my nerves. Actually, I would use up all three wishes if I would be granted just that. I have redbox now for any movie I want to see and have learned to live with the behavior of concert goers. Just make them go away for my Broadway shows.

I know it was a typo but how cool would a Fierstein's 54 Below be? Harvey, with a drink in his hand greeting everyone at the door with a broad smile and that voice "How are ya? How are ya? Welcome." Walking around, stopping at tables making sure everyone is having a good time "How's everybody doing? Listen, the roast duck is really good tonight."

I'd use a wish on that, no problem.

Oh? I see. Also I am sorry you never saw Heather Headley and Adam Pascal.

1. I wish I'd told my dad to just GET THE HAMILTON TICKETS when we had the chance to see the OBC (but we won the lottery not too long after so it's okay).

2. I wish people would actually respect the actors and not film or audio record the shows, and I wish people would just SHUT UP when I talk about it, because it IS a problem.

3. I wish I would get a new job where I could actually afford to see more shows.

1. I wish the Times Square characters would never break character. Leave your Minnie head on at ALL times when you are in public view.

2. I wish that Broadway tickets would round up to the next dollar. Make that $69 ticket $70, or that $119 ticket $120. I like figures that are easy to add!

3. I wish that I would have prepared Christmas cards earlier. I love sending them, but now it's going to be a rush job to get them in the mail by the end of the week.

1. I wish we’d discover a young, i.e., 40ish, Angela Lansbury

2. I wish she’d be in a first class, brilliantly cast revival of Mame while I am still alive to see it

3. I wish we’d get a new brilliant, old-fashioned musical comedy with a big cast, great sets and costumes, a wonderful, hummable score, and a great role for a leading lady. I love a lot of Sondheim, and most of the more serious musicals, but for sheer joy, give me a big old-fashioned musical with a hummable score. Many would disagree, but I think the last one that came close to that description was The Producers, before that I can’t remember.

Kinky Boots ran for 6 years.

Beauty and the Beast ran for 13 years (including the 6-week close so that they could legally (union-wise) downsize the company to fit into a smaller theater).

How many more chances do you need?
