MICHAEL RIEDEL.
That's his idol, lol? Cute video though.
Iain has become the best theater reviewer around. I'm sure Michael Riedel would say that Iain was HIS idol.
I adore everything about that video. ADORE.
"Iain has become the best theater reviewer around. I'm sure Michael Riedel would say that Iain was HIS idol."
I doubt it. They have polar opposite reviewing methods :P
Come on guys, you would of thought Michael Riedel could of pushed the boat out a bit and taken him to a decent gig, such as Book of Mormon.

Nobody but the Post headline writer said Riedel was his idol.
Doesn't Riedel bathe in the blood of the innocent?
"Iain has become the best theater reviewer around."
BEST? Cute, probably, but not best.
this kid is such a joy. I hope he doesn't become a critic. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Or, as George Bush once said, "It's a terrible thing to lose one's mind."

Loved it! That kid has such a great spirit!
How old should Iain be before he starts surfing these shark infested waters? (i.e. BWW)

(eye roll) super over the parents putting words in this kids mouth, please like he understands half of the shows he's "reviewing"
Yeah, he's cute and all but there's no way he comes up with all of that by himself.
If he came up with "I'm the cow, you're the chopped liver" that was pretty clever.

And he has a review of Fun Home! lol
So... which one is the 6 year old?
Naw; I don't actually hate Michael Riedel that much.

He is truly adorable but has he ever NOT liked a show?
I feel like he's coached by his parents too. He is adorable though.

That's not nice. If anything, blame his actor(s?) parents. Clearly they are the ones putting him out there.

Give him til at least a fifth grade book report before he has to find out that liking something because it is interesting doesn't cut it.
Oh yeah, and he shouldn't come here.
If he ever came on BWW, he would get a lifetime of experience in 5 minutes
He would be gutted like a freshly caught fish & served up on a platter. I know a few of the chefs in the BWW kitchen who would do this.
I believe somebody on Facebook asked where his parents draw the line with the shows he sees, given that he's been at a ton of Sondheim shows, Fun Home, Hedwig, etc. His mother responded and said that they draw the line with Hand to God. I'm almost surprised that they even stop there. I'm not sure a child genius could even fully comprehend some of these shows at the age of 6. But I guess it's about making cute videos.

Yea, there is no way he could get Fun Home.
Maybe the general story, but to really appreciate it? I don't think that's possible for a 6 year old.
I do love his enthusiasm though.
I wonder if it's the sex or the violence that makes Hand to God the line in the sand.
