Nominations to be announced on May 5.
Ceremony will again be held at Radio City Music Hall, and the rumor is that Cynthia Erivo has already been offered to host for the second straight year. (She has yet to formally accept.)

It wasn't listed in the press releases I've seen, but I assume they're still planning on doing the "Act One" awards separately again?

Fast turnaround for her as Dracula's closing date it May 30th.
Cynthia definitely seems to like keeping herself booked and busy.

Not after this year.

Follow the Oscars’ lead and move to YouTube.

Fast, but doable. She'll be sent materials and will start prepping well ahead of time. When she arrives in New York it's just a matter of plugging her in.

I could see the Tony’s renewing with CBS for a while. They had pretty good ratings last year (over 5 million) and can still stream on Paramount+. I don’t know if any of the other networks are necessarily eager to pick it up anyway. We don’t even know if CBS wants to renew for that matter.

The Tony Awards returning to Radio City Music Hall on June 7 sounds exciting, and the May 5 nominations announcement will really build the buzz. If Cynthia Erivo does host again, it could bring great energy given her past performance. Which shows or performers do you think have the strongest chances for major awards this year?

Raj Kapoor, who's been producing the Oscars telecasts every year since 2024, will co-produce this year's Tonys along with Sarah Levine Hall and Jack Sussman.

Radio City Music Hall is a perfect venue for the Tony Awards since it adds prestige and history to the ceremony. If Cynthia Erivo returns as host, it would bring continuity and strong stage presence. I once heard from a passenger at Luxury Rides LLC how much anticipation surrounds Broadway events each season.
