Posted: 4/8/09 at 3:28pmIt was so freaking cold outside(my hands were turning blue/purple) that the Sharpies did start to dry up towards the end of the line which is where I was.

Posted: 4/8/09 at 3:38pmVal, did Stephanie remember you? I'm going and well, I made quite an impression on her last time we met lol. Not a bad one, though... but it was interesting. Let's just say, she's worth a 1.5 hour wait in the pouring rain.

Stephanie was expecting me.
She was shocked I waited due to the weather, but, she was expecting me.

Oh, jeez, you can never post anything on these boards...
If I was not known to Stephanie I wouldn't have waited, but I was and therefore she spent time having a conversation with me and didn't get the least bit freaked out. I was simply asking if she has a knack for remembering people. The only other time I ever waited that long, or close to that long was 40 minutes, with 20 some odd other people to meet Brian D'Arcy James after Shrek.

Yes she remembered me WoW2. Her memory is kinda scary with how she can remember people from almost a year ago.
TimeSquare3 will you please get a life and stop worrying about what I do! And I would love to meet up with WoW2 one day! :)

I'm in it! At 0:25, I walk by from the left side on my phone and look away from the camera. And then RyToast was a big creep and smiled at it.
I'M FAMOUS! YAYZ!

Jamiekennywicked, I have to say it might be Megan Hilty, but her Doralee voice doesn't really sound like that. I think its a better chance that it's Tory Ross as Daphne or Karen Murphy as Margaret. The voice sounds the same as whoever says the second line in the opening number but I can't tell which one's which.
ROCKS, did Violet still have the line "I deserve a fat promotion" in the show or did they change it there as well? I'm thinking they will minimize the number of times that Allison Janney will sing by herself on the cast recording. She can carry a tune and holds up well on stage, but the difference in vocal ability would probably more noticeable on a cd.
Btw, listening to that clip you realize how distinct SJB's voice is. This cast recording will be fabulous. If they have it only at the theater for a while, I would seriously pay one of you for a copy... =)

Posted: 4/8/09 at 6:09pmIf you're referring to the opening number, it ends now with Janney singing (more like sing-speaking) "I deserve a fat promotion" and then Hilty and Block sing "the tides are gonna turn" together. No more solos for Hilty and Block at the end of the opening number. Just for Janney.

Posted: 4/8/09 at 6:53pmI saw them filming that video outside of the theater before the show, as well as in the lobby after it was over.

I WAS NOT A BIG CREEP! I was just on a Dolly Parton high. Kinda like those touristy kids who got off the train in Brooklyn and couldn't stop talking about the high they were on after seeing Phantom....
