I was actually at the taping of this. We stood in the stand by line at 7 am and got in to see it. It was a blast! The View gave away tickets to the show to the entire audience!!!

I loved the show and watching the red carpet was such a blast! I hope they run for a good long time. Congrats to the cast and crew.

They will be recording the album on the Monday after the opening. This is traditional for most new musicals as they are usually changing things right up until opening night. according to my source it will be done next month.

"This past Staurday, the guy selling 9 t0 5 stuff said the show had already been recorded." The cast recording has not been recorded yet. It will be recorded sometime next month. They wouldn't do the cast recording so close to opening when there is plenty of time after.

Actually Gaelen is a swing but is listed as an understudy in the Playbill for equity reasons. They can't have more that a certain number of swings or something. I forget what she told me, but she is technically a swing. She covers Doralee and Judy as well as 4 other roles. www.gaelengilliland.com

I was in Row J last Friday night. The seats were fine. It's a small house so all the mezz seats are fairly good.

Maybe because she was filming the latest episode of Roz Reinbaum of "This Is UNACCEPTABLE News": I tend to doubt she'd miss a professional show to do a fun, youtube video that she could do at anytime. I would hope not at least.

And on Broadway Understudies too please? :) It's where I get most of my u/s info, and I *definitely* want to see Gaelen!Judy again!! thanks! and can anyone post info on that site? how do they know it's coming from a reliable source? rykiramom, do you know if the swings will be in the cast performance on 5/1? I am pretty certain they are not. They usually don't do public appearances. Could be wrong, but fairly sure.
