A preliminary search for information about seating at the Marriott Marquis was unsuccessful so I am hoping I can ask some of you.
What are your thoughts on seating at the Marriott Marquis? Is the last row of the Mezz as horribly uncomfortable as the last rows in the Richard Rodgers? Is the Mezz a good vantage point or is it to be avoided?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I can't speak to the comfort level of the seats, but I think that anywhere you sit for this show is a win/win situation. There are obvious perks to sitting up close, but you really get to see the whole stage/set sitting further back, and that in itself is another show worth seeing!
When I first heard about the show, I wasn't that excited. Having gotten the opportunity to see it in LA, I am not in love. It is such a good show and I think word of mouth will spread and ticket sales will improve. I wish they would announce a rush policy though, I'd really like to see it again soon!
The seats in the rear mezz aren't bad. I sat there for WHITE CHRISTMAS and didn't have that many complaints.
I'll be celebrating the 1st preview somewhere out in space mountain, or perhaps with some Caribbean pirates...
I'm off to Disneyland, but I can't wait to read what you all have to say about the changes they've made when I get back tonight! (Here's hoping that we can keep it to one thread. Yeah, OK... even I had to laugh at that one. But, please?)
I can NOT wait to hear back from the first preview!

AAAAAAAAAAAH! SOO EXCITED! Also, to anyone who's asking, the Rear Mezzanine in the Marquis is the BEST Rear Mezzanine on Broadway.
Yeah, but they are 75 dollars. More than the discounted orchestra seats.
I sat next to the last row in Mzz for Drowsy Chaperone. The seats were fine and comfortable.

I cannot wait to see this on Thursday....I'm flying in from Toronto!
3 hours until curtain. I am very excited to see this show.
The company just got their first of hopefully many "two hours till beginners" call.
Chookas tonight ... I (along with a few other BWWers will be cheering you along the whole way) :)
I saw it 3 times in LA and loved it!
I hope you guys have as much fun as I did!
