Posted: 6/9/11 at 4:34pmCan anyone recommend a 90 minute show currently running with Saturday matinees? Next Saturday, my friend and I are seeing Now. Here. This. at 5pm, and we're hoping to make it a three show day by seeing something at 2 and something at 8. Any suggestions? We don't really care if it's Bway or Off, as long as they have some sort of cheap ticket option (be it tdf, rush, whatever)

Posted: 6/9/11 at 5:04pmWell it is close to 2 hours but "The Motherf***er With the Hat" has no intermission. So you should still make your 5:00 show.

Posted: 6/9/11 at 5:56pmYou shouldn't limit yourself. The Vineyard is a 10 minute train ride from Times Square. As long as you're out of the theatre by between 4:20-4:30, you should make it to Union Square with time to spare.

Posted: 6/9/11 at 5:59pmYou might try THE GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW at New World Stages. It's not a traditional "show" but I enjoyed it very much. It's only 90 minutes.

Dolly, it is actually less than 90 minutes. About an hour and 15 minutes. oh, and yes, it is a fun show! I like the laser part, the snow bubbles and the "ocean of bubbles".

Luv2go, advanced sales for Jump were terrible. The producers put out a bizarre statement that this season was so good for theater, no one was buying tickets to this show. Shame, too. I was planning on buying a group of tickets for some of my teacher friends as soon as we all got off work for the summer.

Posted: 6/11/11 at 7:59pmMy 6 yr old granddaughter used to consider THE GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW her favorite. However, I took her to see a local production of WEST SIDE STORY and now she says that's the best show she's ever seen. She brings the cast album to school and has been getting her classmates to dance the "Mambo" during playtime.(What have I started?)

I saw JUMP last sunday... I was so excited to see it.
It was AWFUL! I walked out (and I have NEVER walked out of any sort of performance before.)
I am not surprised at all that it is closing.
I just wish it would have closed a week earlier, so I could have spent last Sunday at another show.
