It feels weird that they're recording a few days into previews. It basically suggests that the show is already frozen, or at least the music/lyrics won't be altered in any way.

They probably just need the new recording as a marketing tool, as ticket sales are sluggish so far.

There have been other shows that have recorded, and had the recording be different than the frozen show. (Of course, I can't think of the titles right now!)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
