That's what it said in a NY Times article. I thought it was closing on August 31. Playbill.com and Ticketmaster also say August 31. Does anyone know if it has changed?
NY Times
Yep, it's official per Playbill.

This is a shame. If you haven't seen it yet, GO!
Hope they have a great rest of their run!
Well wouldn't you know, I had tickets for July 30.
Boo!
RUN, Do not walk.....
The best musical of the New York season.
LCT should sponsor a limited Broadway run.

Well, it convinced me to buy a ticket.
After all the awards and the great reviews and press, I was shocked to see the show a couple weeks ago with the house at less than 1/3 full. I LOVED it. Why there weren't more people is beyond me.
Its definitely one of the best new works this season, I've seen it a few times already but I'm tempted to go see it one last time.
If you haven't seen it yet - absolutely go! I haven't seen a ton of shows or anything, but I'm guessing there's not a lot out there like it.
Yankee, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
As compelling as I thought the show was, thinking back on it, seeing it seems like a means to an end - the end being listening to the recording, which I think is better appreciated once you've seen it.
There's so much interesting stuff going on in so many of the songs, musically and rhythmically, I don't think you can catch it all when you see it for the first time. I haven't been able to stop listening to it!
Enjoy.
I just bought my ticket for 7/27
And I won't get back up to NYC before that
I wish I had known, I could have tried to come up earlier
I'm very sorry to miss this one, everyone made it sound quite wonderful

Completely excellent show in every possible way. Don't miss it.
Can anyone provide more details on their Student Rush policy?
The website says $25 at the box office.
Cash and/or credit?
What time are they on-sale?
THANKS
I am seeing it tomorrow night!

I think it's so discouraging when shows close earlier than announced, having already sold tix for later dates
If I had had better info, I would have made sure to get up to see it BEFORE 7/20
Now my ticket for 7/27 will be refunded, and I will miss a show I REALLY wanted to see
Am I the only one who finds this sort of thing upsetting? It seems like once they've sold tix to a date, they should honor that
I guess there's a good reason for this?
I bought my ticket for this Saturday!
Dammit, I haven't gotten around to it. I've been meaning to, but...well, I guess that's the reason shows close :/

They'd honor the ticket if they could, but clearly they simply haven't sold enough tix to go on. They ran out of money. Don't take it personally.
