I'm not a huge Groban fan, but Clarkson sounds fantastic!
That girl can sing anything.
Personally I think these are her best ever recorded vocals. Get that girl to Broadway please!

Wow, Kelly Clarkson does sound amazing! I've never heard her sing this kind of song. They both sound great. I wonder if Kelly Clarkson will ever consider doing anything on Broadway, she probably would sell lots of tickets.
Not to beat the horse to death but I'd love to see her do a revival of "Annie Get Your Gun", not to mention how cool the connection of Reba to her is.

I think he sounds great and appropriate but I don't like the pop inflections she uses here. This song doesn't really beg for that kind of treatment.

So I take it you sided with Sondheim regarding Lady Gaga singing the Sound of Music medley at the Oscars?
"I couldn't finish it. "
Neither could I--or maybe it's the song.
Just because someone can sing-why is the immediate thought--get them to Broadway?
Groban sounds great! Clarkson sounds fine; he could've gone with someone different, but she's alright anyways.

Nice pop cover but I don't find her personality expansive enough for Broadway.
Kind of CHESS-y, but then, it would be. I'm startled by the comments that find it too pop, as though it never has been before.

She has a nice enough voice but she could use a good diction coach.
Reba as Miss Mona and Kelly as Doatsey Mae.

Me either.
I wish she would take some acting lessons (from Reba) and Molly Brown.
What personality, Wilmingtom?

Beat me. Adam Lambert's fans have been saying for years that he should star in a Broadway show. Of course the guy can sing, but he's not much of an actor and has said in interviews that he doesn't even like stage work, and he only ever did it to pay the bills. I'm pretty sure he's going to stick to a pop career.
Ouch! Groban sounds great, at least in the few seconds to which I could bear to listen, but Clarkson manages to make her first notes sound shrill. Also, she succumbs to the ill-advised temptation to sing in a rock style when her character is supposed to be an up-and-coming opera singer.
The more I see of Clarkson, the more underwhelmed I become.
Josh Great. Kelly awful and completely wrong for this number.
Not entirely OT: Lambert was Fiero in the L.A. WICKED, at least understudy, right? There's footage of him floating around. And didn't enjoy it. At all. I can't imagine it, but he must've been good in auditions to land it.
