I do find it interesting that most of the press for All In was about the performers (Lin, Mulaney, etc) and yet for this one Lawrence is getting most of the buzz. Maybe a combination of Gracie's Just in Time fame, the poor reception for All In, and (as a result) the lower star wattage this time.

When are reviews supposed to officially drop for this?

Saw this today and as someone who saw All Out twice. This is a significantly better evening in terms of the overall production.
Sarah Silverman, Craig Robinson, Heidi Gardner and Jason Mantzoukas where all mostly off book, actually played their characters, acting out the stories ect
The design and overall production concept had so much more thought put into it.
Lawrence are amazing but my only BIG note is they kind of outweighted the storytelling. They perform a majority of their 2024 album Family Business over the course of 90 minutes, which doesn't leave as much time for the four performers, who most people are likely paying for.
this doesn't need to be on Broadway but it is a marked improvement over All In if you can get a $45 rush ticket you should catch the current group

TikToker Jake Shane to replace Ashley Park, due to the latter having a schedule conflict.

He's a podcaster; I'd heard of his show but I hadn't heard of him. It's going to be an interesting experiment, because like I mentioned earlier, the format for this is "big budget podcast/NPR," so I wonder how someone whose work is IN that genre will do with the stage show.

God I am glad I decided to see the current group, I would be SO annoyed if I had tickets for Ashley Park and this guy was the replacement
also could they really not find someone who wasn't white to replace her? yeesh

I caught ALL OUT tonight (love a 5pm curtain!), and I found it to be a very fun, albeit somewhat slight, evening. I didn’t see ALL IN, and this wasn’t even on my radar either, but for the TDF price, I decided to pay it a visit.
Gracie Lawerence was out, but Olivia Puckett was remarkable. What a voice! I really enjoyed the music and the musical numbers peppered throughout the evening (probably more than the actual comedy bits).
All four leads were good. None of them really blew me away, but they weren’t terrible by any means. Everyone gets a moment to “shine”. I particularly enjoyed Jenny Slate’s bit with Paul Revere’s horse and Ray Romano’s New York scene.
I had a nice time and enjoyed myself. It’s a quick fun night where you can turn your brain off for ninety minutes.

The rumors about a third theatrical installment of Simon Rich short stories coming to Broadway appear to be true, putting to bed the West End ALL IN speculation at the moment. I’ve got a feeling they’ll announce shortly after ALL OUT concludes next weekend.
Lorne has been sweet-talking some of the biggest names in SNL history to hop on: Will Ferrell, Fey + Poehler, Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Colin Jost, etc. None have committed so far.
I haven’t heard anything about a venue or musical guest yet.

Kenan and Colin are unavailable due to their SNL schedule. Show week runs Monday thru Saturday and are long hours.

If this new Rich production pans out, it’ll be after Season 51 concludes.

Perhaps they'll call it ALL DONE, and be just that.

I couldn’t find a single honest review about ALL OUT before going, so let me be the one to say what no one else did. First—this is not a play. It’s a musical, but not a traditional one. It’s a series of comedic skits broken up by loud, over‑the‑top band numbers.
If you don’t like Mariah Carey–style vocals, this is not the show for you. One performer sings in an extremely high first‑soprano falsetto that borders on screaming, and if you’re sitting close to the stage—brace yourself. My poor husband may have actually lost some hearing.
The skits themselves were… fine. Honestly, nothing more impressive than something a high school theatre group could write. If this is your first Broadway experience and you’re under 30, you might find it fun. But if you’re an experienced theatre‑goer who’s seen dozens of shows, save your money.
For me, this ranks among the worst productions I’ve seen in years. It felt elementary, and frankly, a bit insulting to anyone who truly knows and appreciates theatre.

And, this is what makes horse races..very low expectations..but I had a TERRIFIC time! ALL IN was written better-but ALL OUT was really entertaining--at least this cast of 4 had great chem and was mostly off book. There was some accidental ad-libbing and the performers were having fun (and breaking). I was with others who had seen the show previously. And the songs SHOULD BE ELIGIBLE for score!!! And Gracie Lawrence should be nominated for Supporting Actress!!! For me, it was 90 minutes of escape and happiness.
