^ cute but doesn't have pipes like christina AT ALLLLLL!!!! Def had a bit of trouble singing the track. Also...it didn't make a ton a sense for the arabic to appear on the screens only for a white chick in a hot pink outfit and bleach blond extensions to appear. Once she ripped of the burqa - she looked like I dream of Jeannie. Or desert Barbie.
I saw the show and noticed Chase Peacock is in the show, but there was no mention of him in the Playbill? Am I missing something ?
When did you see the show? Chase hasn't been in it since before opening night. He's been injured and Sean Wing is his temporary replacement. Chase did perform with the cast this morning on CBS and will perform with them at the Tonys, but he's still injured and not back in the show yet.
Has Ben Thompson gone on for Favorite Son? Do they have another video if Ben has to go on?
No. Neither in Berkeley or on Broadway. They didn't have another video in Berkeley but they made videos for Ben and Andrew Call, who's the other Favorite Son understudy for Broadway.
Sean was injured too..so I don't think he is with the show anymore.
Pretty sure that he's still in the show. Last night, Omar was on for Ben and Kobak was on for Declan so there was no swing to go on for Chase if Sean isn't there. I remember him being injured but it wasn't for long.
I saw it on Sunday afternoon, and Sean was on, and Josh was on. I was so confused because I was front row, and there were so many faces and not every lined up with who I thought they were.
Ben Thompson is on for Favorite Son tonight. He's only doing the Favorite Son part of Joshua Henry's track and Omar Lopez-Cepero is doing the rest of Joshua's track.
Chase Peacoc k is back, but Declan Bennett is out, sources say until August. Chase's temporary replacement, Sean Wing, is currently doing Declan's track for the meantime; another temporary replacement should be coming in soon.
I saw Leslie McDonel go on for "Heather" two weeks ago when I saw the show. It was my first time seeing AI and I really liked her performance. I saw it the next two nights and Mary was back on. I liked them both for different reasons, but I think I preferred Leslie in the role.
Joshua Henry will be doing Scottsboro Boys at the Guthrie this August, so he'll have to be replaced.
It hasn't be officially announced but Wallace Smith, formerly Hud from "Hair," will take over Josh's track. Wallace has been in rehearsals since the closing of "Hair."
Wallace Smith officially starts today (July 20th) as Favorite Son. The new swings, Corbin Reid & Sydeny Harcourt, start this week as well.
Mary Faber (Heather), who has been out ill for the last week, will be out a few more weeks. Libby will be on as Heather until next week and then Leslie will be on.
Stark Sands will be out in a couple of weeks, probably to film the HBO Pilot of 'Miraculous Year.' Van Hughes will be on for Tunny during this time.
How long will Sands be out? Any word if Gallagher and Esper are planning any time away?
It's unknown how long Stark will be out. I guess it depends on how large his role in in the pilot.
As far as I know, Johnny & Esper aren't planning time off any time soon. Also, Johnny's in the show past September, despite what some people have said.
