As previously stated, Theo is out on an injury...so that takes care of his name and then domino effect: Gerard and Omar's names.
This is the first time I've heard of Gallagher being out during the NY run -- he's got a great work ethic.

I have been told that Alysha is up at Vassar as Anika Noni Rose's replacement in "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever."
Declan and Mary have been out for a while due to injury and sickness. Tony's also been dealing with a sinus infection since Sunday.
Gallagher is the only one who's unaccounted for, in terms of why he's out. And yeah, it's the first time he's been out in NY.

Why would Anika need in a replacement in ON A CLEAR DAY..., sorano916?
I heard she was phenomenal at the final dress rehearsal.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Unaccounted for? Does he need to answer to you? It's none of our business.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant that it's just unknown; he doesn't have to explain why he's out, etc. Sorry if I did the wrong word choice there. Don't need to snap at me.

Glad that you didn't mean it that way -- but you can see how it seemed.

I'd just like to mention, if anyone gets a chance to see Joshua Koback as St. Jimmy (it's still undetermined if he'll be on Saturday 7/31), it's definitely a must see. Tony Vincent is amazing, but Joshua Koback totally takes it to another level.

I can't talk about the show, due to the nature of the workshop setting, but Anika Noni Rose was FANTASTIC, a revelation, etc. at the final dress of CLEAR DAY.
But yes, due to personal reasons Rose had to exit today, not sure if it's for the performance on Sunday as well (they have no performance on 7/31).
I hope she is able to make it back.

looks like they hired those extra swings just in time.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

As per John Gallagher Jr.'s twitter:
"I got shut down and bed ridden by sickness this weekend. My true apologies to all seeing American Idiot. It is killing me to not be there."

Apparently that apology made some in the cast personally upset:
@JohnGallagherJr Not sure what to make of that. We miss you but apologizing to those seeing the show devalidates us still kicking ass here
apologize to people that were hoping to see you. But don't apologize for the quality of the show while you're gone. Uncool.
When someone commented on the intent, she replied:
Well you have to be careful with a limited # of characters and many of our cast took offense. I'm just the one saying it.
It goes on from there...
Either way, I'm still going and seeing the show tonight. It's just sad to see Twitter flare ups like that.

Heh... Michael Esper's tweets on the whole thing are pretty amusing:
@aspenvincent @johngallagherjr that was the most polite Twitter-beef ever. Could you please try a bit harder? Listen to NWA or something?
Also? I'm making "Team John" and "Team Aspen" shirts right now.
Also, I just want to apologize to everyone for being in the show tonight.

BTW, he's the only one who hasn't called out in Berkeley or Broadway.

Yeah, it sounded to me that he felt bad for not being able to be there for his cast and fans. I guess tensions are running high with so many swings and understudies going on. But when it rains it pours.

That was just...odd. He could've worded it better but she also took it way out of proportion.
That said, everyone was wonderful. I really enjoyed Van Hughes as Johnny.

Reading John's tweet I just felt like it was so obvious he was in no way putting down the show, and I really don't know how she got that vibe.

She did say that she knew what he meant...so pretty much the argument was pointless.
