The first preview is cancelled. I just got a call and exchanged my tickets for later in the month.

Oh no! I hope everything is alright. I wonder if it's something technical.

Is there a chance this will open on Broadway by December? I am planning my annual theatre trip to the States in December and would love to see this.

A Positive Review from someone who saw a dress rehearsal (SPOILER ALERT). Damn, they NAILED most of the historical aspects of it. I got the chills everywhere

I got chills too. Those historical details sound wonderful. Has there been any news on when this is supposed to hit Broadway?

This sounds incredible. I grew up on this film (but was a huge history nerd too) and it sounds like they have done a great job blending the fairy tale musical with the historical detail. Wish I could get to CT to see it- can't wait to hear from more of those who do!

"Dark of the Night" is no longer in the score, so I don't care...

Yes I know there's no Rasputin but they could have reworked the lyrics and included the song still.
Nevertheless, from that description it sounds brilliant and a lot darker than I expected!

Serious? I am a big Bluth defender, but that song (and, frankly, the entire Rasputin plot) reeks of all the issues with his later movies. And it's not even a good villain song--the melody is so uninspired...
