Do Roundabout shows usually have discount codes?
I have no clue how well this is going to sell and was thinking of paying full price...but then I realized it doesn't hurt to ask if people think there'll be discounts.
Any thoughts?
there are no codes for Apple tree the cheapest seats is an affordable $35.00
I know how much seats are.
But, for once, I'd like to not sit in the last row of Studio 54.

They're $36.25...and they're last row Mezz.
After subscription and other sales; discount codes can become available. Even being in the last row of Studio 54 (which used to be the VIP area back in the day...) the view is still good. Sometimes better than the orchestra!
For Apple Tree, it's not about the view, but the voice. Kristin is the scenery! And you'll be able to hear/see her from any point in that theatre.

I heard that Studio 54 Mezz has no leg room...at all
I know.
I've sat there many times.

It really doesn't, but there are no bad seats, sightwise.
Studio 54 mezz is awful. It's extremely far away and there is very little leg room. It is uncomfortable up there. My only experiences in the mezzanine there have been with plays though, as I sat in the orchestra for CABARET and ASSASSINS.
There will *absolutely* be discount codes. They may be for $86.25 on the side orchestra, but there will definitely be some. Plus, tickets (good seats) pop up a day before every performance (sometimes day of) as subscribers cancel their tickets to a certain performance. Don't spend $111.25.
True, Yankee! Leg room is a bitch in that theatre, but sights are good. Funny, though, if the show is good, leg room is forgotten...trust me I'm 6'1 and I know!!

Well...since I'm coming from the other side of the country I'm not willing to take a chance..already got my front row orchestra seats the first day they were on sale.
Congratulations.

You get added to the mailing lists when you order tickets via telecharge.
Who says there will be discount codes? This could be like the Roundabout's Pajama Game even though Chenoweth isnt as big of a draw as Connick jr.
The chance of there being discount codes are slim. The show is selling EXTREMELY well, and the orchestra/front mezz seats available to the public are going extremely quickly. The rest are either already sold for subscribers, or held for possible future subscribers.
You know that Kristin will get raves for her performnce - those raves on top of the fangirls and die-hard musical theatre fans won't allow much room for available tickets, let alone discounted seats.
I don't recall ASSASSINS having discount codes - did it?
I think it did, but I could be wrong. And Assassins isn't as lighthearted as The Apple Tree. And Assassins is Sondheim. Brilliant but hard to sell.
ASSASSINS did have discounts. But APPLE TREE will have the entire Wicked world after it.
Plus a very limited run.
