just noticed their performance schedule after it opens tomorrow night and that they'll be dark for a week and resume performances next Tuesday. And then they have a few weeks where they're doing 9 shows.
According to Telecharge, Corden will be out Oct. 7 & Nov. 18.

Cannavale was the weakest link for me. NPH was fine, if miscast, and Corden fared the best by a mile.
All in all (and unfortunately) another shiny star vehicle with not muchof note going on under the hood."
This sounds like what I would expect, based on having seen and read the play and seen all three actors in previous Broadway appearances. I'm still not sure if I will see it. My FOMO days are long past.
I saw it the other day and I thought it was alright. I looked at my watch at one point because I felt it was really dragging and saw it had only been going for about 25 mins. Like others have said, it did pick up after Corden’s monologue which oddly, the audience went crazy for it but I thought it felt very of out of place with the rest of the writing? I dunno, like I said I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it, the whole thing just kind of sat there for me.
I’d always been curious about this play seeing how popular it was when it premiered and maybe with that cast it was a different experience. I can’t say anyone in this revival is miscast or “bad” but I just didn’t get the hype or adoration for it.
Definitely liked it but wouldn’t say loved. All three were very good, but Corden stole the show because his character was the lovable one. It lost me in the last 5 minutes. That ending felt unnecessary. Also, there was a big deal made about Kid Harpoon’s music and there was basically none. That was ridiculous.

Caught this yesterday and while I had a good time and it gave me some ideas to chew on, I don't think people should necessarily consider this a must-see. I thought all three did great individual work and they had good chemistry in terms of playing off each other for humor and everything but there seemed to just be something missing. Parts of the show felt as if it was being done as a remove and I partially wonder how much of that came from the translation, but also what occurred to me later was that it felt a lot like telling and not showing. While I could discern that these were friends that had known each other for a long time, I couldn't quite parse out the dynamics of their individual relationships just by watching them interact and when they started articulating how they felt towards each other later in the show I was like "oh, I guess that makes sense" but it wasn't something I necessarily "felt".
I do wonder if maybe that was on purpose, as the show gives an interesting look into male friendships (I actually have a friend who I think could benefit from seeing the show lol) and what their friends mean to them. But part of it may also be that these three are fairly well known actors so I had trouble seeing them fade into their characters and perhaps imposed their own personalities/other characters they've played onto their performances.
Either way, it was still a fun evening, though I did feel the energy shot up anytime Corden was on stage (the NPH/Cannavale scenes were where I got the sleepiest), and I'd give a light recommendation to anyone who's interested.
