Aaron Tveit's replacement.....?

So I've seen N2N once already and can't go again until Aaron leaves for Catch Me if You Can...does anyone have any idea who his replacement could be?..I've heard maybe Kyle Dean Massey..any truth to that?

I heard Kyle Dean Massey, too, on this site. I am hoping for him, because he has the voice to really do well in the role.

Would it kill them to cast someone that looks a little younger? Seriously, unless he looks vastly different on stage than he does in pictures, i don't think he will be believable.

I don't understand this complaining...Massey doesn't look THAT old! And I'd rather someone who can sing the role than someone who looks the role and isn't up to it vocally.

Aaron has a baby face, though. Even though he's 24 or 25, on stage he can pull off 18 (but just barely!) Kyle Dean Massey has a much more "manly" look about him. But who knows, maybe it'll work out.

Kyle looks his age. That's all it is. He has a beautiful voice, but why not bump him up to Fieyro already instead of casting him in a show he isn't right for.

It's pointless to suggest names at this point. The role has obviously been cast, given the (temporary) replacement starts performances in two weeks.

Matt filled in for Kyle Riabko in the SA tour a month or so ago for a few weeks.

He's working on a solo concert gig -- no date/venue yet...but I'd assume Joe's.

He's been cast as Hugo in the Birdie revival.

(But I think he'd be great in the role as well.)

I think Aaron looks the right age on stage. It's not like they are doing a Stockard Channing in the film Grease

I think you are right Matt would be perfect or even Jonathan Wright and there would be a Spring Awakening in the cast!

Jonathan B. Wright could never play this role. He had trouble showing up to play his small role in Spring Awakening. He'd never be able to play a role this large, with this much singing.

Um....there already IS a Spring Awakening person in the show. And as much as I adore JBW, I don't see him in this part -- but would LOVE to see him on stage again.
