Not only the singing, but also the physical aspect. Aaron makes it look easy and effortless but there is A LOT of running up and down stairs, and across the stage.

Just posting a pic of Kyle.... i dont know i think maybe with the right "makeup" and hairstyle and clothes he could look 18? Maybe? haha I saw him in wicked last summer as Aarons replacement and thought he was wonderful!

FYI....
I was in the Gershwin lobby this evening and noticed that Kyle Dean Massey is no longer on the cast board in the lobby and is not in the company.
I'd say that's more confirmation that he will be playing Gabe this summer until Aaron returns.

Whoever his replacement will be, I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be interesting to see how it affects the show, since this cast has essentially shaped the show for the past 6 months.

I saw Kyle lingering at the Booth stage door after the matinee today. So there's probably some truth to these rumors.

YEAH? Well Aaron Tveit told me HIMSELF (we're best friends) that he's STAYING in the role. And I corroborated it with Stephen Sondheim's boyfriend AND Cubby Bernstein's mother.

1. Saw the show Sat matinee: it was stunning. I was more moved by it than previous showings)
2. I was hanging waiting to meet a friend in Shubert alley with a perfect view of the stage door. I didn't realize it until reading this thread: But Kyle came out of stage door.

Is it FOR SURE that Aaron's last day is this Saturday? Since there hasn't been an official confirmation, has anyone actually heard Aaron say "my last day is the 6th"?

Oh I don't think he'll be awful, it's not like he's Groff or Matt Doyle. I saw him in the 42nd Street tour, and while he was def. over acting, it worked for the show and the role, so I'm not sure how he'll be in a much more subdued, realistic type role. He'll sing the songs beautiful, I just think he might look like Dan's brother rather than his son. Not that he looks 40, but he has a maturity to his look.

i think seeing him around the booth can mean that he is the replacement.
i saw autumn hanging around the palace 2 weeks before the final of legally blonde: the search for the next elle woods. i know she was not laura bell bundy's replacement but she got an ensemble part in legally blonde.

Dramamama, I also saw the show Saturday matinee! Wonderful, wonderful show. I would go back no matter who replaces Aaron. Kyle is a fine choice for me, although he does read older than Aaron in my opinion.

What do you guys think would be the best way of getting tickets for next saturday night's show? TKTS or buy whatever comes up in telecharges database? row d seats 14/16

I'm not entirely sure the show will be up at TKTS next Saturday night. It's very close to sold out right now, with only horrible seats (like D14 and D16) available. If you don't mind a seat on the extreme side, I would buy now, to make sure you get in.
