Posted: 11/22/09 at 8:37pmWho are some actors or artists you wish did more theater? I would say Barbra Streisand for me, she did her famous role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl but never really did much else in the theater.

I believe Toni Collette has stated that she never wants to do another show after the way Mandy Patinkin treated her and the entire cast during the run of The Wild Party.

And considering the OP chose Babs, there's a ____ of a lot better chance you'll see Collette on Bway 8 times a week than La Streisand!
I suppose a MOVIE musical would be ideal for Toni and she was in the final 2 or 3 for both Roxie in CHICAGO and Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY.
But her performance in THE WILD PARTY is the stuff dreams are made of...

Add me to the list of Neil Patrick Harris fans, he just joined Twitter last week and I immediately had to send him a "tweet" saying PLEASE come back to Broadway and do another musical! He didn't answer (I didn't expect him to) but I hope he knows how many people would love to see him do live theatre here.
Hell, I'd fly to L.A. to see him in a musical!
