Just wondering if folks here can tell of their experience:
Ill be in town around 3pm today to see a show- curtain is at 8pm. Tix purchased thru TDF. When’s the earliest I can go to the BO to pick up the tix at WC?
Thx!
It varies. 3 p.m. is probably too early. I would say 7 p.m. would be safe.

If you go earlier in the day, they will tell you to come back half an hour before the show. Just pick them up on your way in. Enjoy!

Several times, an hour before was still too early!
In many cases, the box office has told me that 5:00pm is when they start to allocate the tickets, so anytime from then until 7pm is ideal
On the TDF site they say 30 minutes before the performance and no other time.
I have been told both after 5:00 or 30 minutes before curtain. I usually just pick them up on the way in. I don't like carrying my tickets around if i don't have to. The few times I went early to get them I knew I might get to the theater just before curtain.
Thx, everyone! This is where you can get the fastest theatre answers!

If there's some reason you want them earlier, I've had success picking up as early as the 11 AM. I've found it depends on whether the listing is still on TDF; if it's not, the B.O. may have gotten the manifest and allocated the tickets already.

My experience has always been an hour before the show. A couple of times I tried to pick them up earlier and was told to come back no earlier than an hour before.
