African-America Phantom of The Opera?

"No, Margo was not Keith David".

Of course not, silly. I was trying to divert the troll - but I really would go see Keith, even though he's totally wrong for the part.

"ghostlight-
I think the general consensus is we've lost Margo".

Thanks, huskcharmer, but boy, I hope not. I did know Margo to some degree, and "spoke" to him about a year back. I may know enough to find out. I'll let you know.

Yeah, please do! At least to know he's doing well.

Can't promise but that I'll try, blaxx. On a positive note, he did say he was taking a break from the boards. I'd always assumed he'd made the break permanent. I do have a few other avenues I can pursue, though.

eta: was BFB also Raithnait? I'd always wondered. oh, and topic? I wouldn't mind seeing Norm as the Phantom, either. Updated On: 7/15/09 at 08:16 PM

No, she wasn't Rathnait.

BFB and Rathnait did NOT get along at all. Rathnait thought BFB was a sockpuppet created to make fun of her.

I remember that and I first I even thought that myself, and then realized that BFB was just one of my favorite people on the board. We exchanged a few messages in which I always got a sense that she was funny and like I said earlier, quite an intelligent person. It really bothers me that thanks to BWW ridiculousness I had no idea about what happened. Still, nice knowing that there's just the one F*CKer who feels like raining on the parade, and really if it wasn't for him bumping this thread I wouldn't have known.

Thanks, Phyllis, and me either, ray. Odd how life works sometime.

BFB was one of my all-time favorite people, and boy, if you ever needed a Sally Struthers question answered, she was the one to go to.

We had discussed meeting for lunch in June when I went to the city, I'm sad that we never did. I always knew she had my back.

I always loved the way she talked about us as her "gay boys."

I cannot believe that BFB is no longer with this. This upsets me a lot more than Billy Mays passing, you can be sure.

I think a LOT of people thought she was an anti-Rath sockpuppet. Wasn't there some sort of Rath/Sally Struthers connection around the time she appeared? Actually, don't answer that. Who cares?

I'm glad I got to know her, even if it was only on this board.

So...who would like to see Norm Lewis play the Phantom?

I actually think MJ could have been pretty interesting.

BFB and I bonded over our repsect and love for Sally. When she first started, I also thought she may have been a sock, and I sent her a PM saying, I hope you are not going to be making fun of Sally. She wrote back that she was a big fan, and we instantly clicked.

She will be sadly missed.

Aaron,

Until you can learn how to use this board properly, you should really keep your ignorance to yourself.
