Forgive me for posting on topic on a thread about the status of a notable part of the current Broadway world (like it or not). Like any topic, if it irritates or offends your delicate sensibilities, skip it. Move On.
I've been around the interwebs long enough not to get offended about snarky attacks. However, I find it interesting that of all the postings about the nasty attitude on the other board, I can't recall being flamed there. Mrs. Potts, meet Mr. Kettle.
Most fan(atics) use both boards. Why would you care which I prefer? Getting offended because I might prefer the Lippa version of "The Wild Party," perhaps ...but a chat board?
I never said I was offended or irritated. I am glad the long national nightmare of an inaccessible ATC has ended for all the (fan)atics and that you are free to return where you are happiest. I picked up on what YOU wrote, and gave you a farewell.
You didn't address the point dramarama illustrated so well either, but, as I said, good day.
I find it utterly bizarre that Namo and dramamama view Mark's post with such negativity. Mark was the first to inform this board to share the news that a sister board was back. That's a bad thing? Who cares why he joined?
"Oh ghostlight, since when is chasing people off the boards a problem with you, of all people?"
No idea what you're talking about, Namo - the one person I have tried to get banned from here was your old arch enemy CountA, whom, I'd hazard to guess, no one wanted here. You certainly didn't. Updated On: 1/28/11 at 03:04 PM
The thing about that Board that grinds my gears is the unilateral censorship. A very interesting (if passionate and sometimes snarky) thread (on potential legal issues of reviewing Spider Man early) was just deleted entirely, with no explanation (except that the moderator didn't like it, I suppose). Makes you feel like you're back in the elementary school library being shushed.
