I know everyone's 'mixed' over PREDLUE TO A KISS, but I still have high hopes of catching John Mahoney before it closes. My question to you is: I was offered Right Orch. Row A, Seats 4 and 6, but then, I was offered Mezz. Row A, Seats 109 and 110. Now, I've never been to the American Airlines, so I wouldn't know how big (or small) the theatre is, and what the view from well, ANYWHERE is like. If anyone could point me in the right direction, as expected, it would be greatly appreciated.
Is it safe to go by this chart? I'm assuming the Mezzanine IS actually there in the theatre, and it's not a misprint. But what row of the orchestra does it overhang? If anyone knows what's what, lemme know.
I can't recall how far the mezzanine overhangs the orchestra stalls, but I sat in E109 of then stalls and it wasn't directly overhead. The stage didn't seem to be particularly elevated so I don't think you'd get neck-ache from row A downstairs. Just depends if you prefer to be close to the action or to be able to see the whole stage from slightly further afar in the mezzanine. Not much help I know (:-/), but FWIW I thought it was a very enjoyable production - I was particularly impressed by Alan Tudyk's performance.
It's a tiny theater. Take the 1st row of the Mezz. That's where I sat and it was a perfect view. It even has leg room! The one downside is that you're looking from over the light rack, but that's not a big deal.
I'm bumping this thread because I don't want to start another. My question is, how is the rear mezz at this theatre? I've been there before, I know how small it is, but I've only sat front mezz and orchestra.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
I'm also wondering, since I asked this last night and didnt get a reponse, which would be better- Row J in the orchestra on the far left, or a box seat? probably buying the PYGMALION tickets and want to know which has a better view :) or basically, what you miss from the box seats...

I saw THE 39 STEPS from the HipTix seats. I think it was like E-105, The view was fine. For the second act I moved down to the front row center of the Mezz as it wasn't that full.
I sat in the rear mezzanine area (forgot exactly which row, but definitely in the last 4-5 rows) for On the 20th Century, and the view was not bad at all. You will probably not be able to see facial expressions of the performers perfectly, unless you have super vision, but it is still a great view which allows you to take in the whole set. It's not a huge theater so I think the last few rows will be fine. I also thought the seats were pretty nice and comfortable there.
