Andrea Martin Leaving PIPPIN Permanently

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Martin will leave PIPPIN at the conclusion of her contract next month to star in a new sitcom for Canadian television.

One can only assume Tovah Feldshuh will be back to permanently replace her.

gchris, Martin has said numerous times in the press that her contract ends in September.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

~ as much as I love marlo thomas, she would be all wrong for berthe...and as much as I love marlo mhomas I can say with utmost certainty that her vocal range is limited.

~ would love to see her back on the boards...but not as a replacement berthe in pippin.
