I remember this when it first aired, especially the fact that Antonio Banderas was clearly auditioning to take on the title role in the film version of Phantom

This was also the concert that we got the first incarnation of a Phantom sequel-The Heart Is Slow To Learn from Phantom 2. The tune was later recycled in The Beautiful Game, and then again with Love Never Dies.

It's a nice concert, the highlights are Glenn Close doing Sunset and Elaine Paige singing a stunning Don't Cry for me Argentina

With Gerard Butler they ran headfirst into that bullet -- then got run over by a truck for good measure.
