His first performance is tonight! I'm really curious to hear how he does. Anybody on here going?

Would love to know if he still does things Neil did like make out with someone in the front row (that seat he always picked is on sale for plenty of shows.. I swear I'm not desperate for a Hedwig tongueing..)
NPH picked various seats in the front row to kiss. Twice I saw him kiss someone in the 2nd row.
I'll be there tonight, can't wait! I'll come back with my thoughts after the show ends.
That's awesome!!! I do wonder whether Andrew's good friend NPH will be in the audience. Enjoy!
I wonder if Neil Patrick Harris will wait to come for a couple of reasons. First, I think he may want to let Andrew have this night to himself (let's face it, if Neil Patrick Harris is in the audience for Andrew's first, it might just take attention away from Andrew). Also, maybe he just wants to let him settle in. Last, I'm thinking Neil Patrick Harris is vacationing somewhere and may not want to revisit this right this moment (he just finished).
I'm going to see Hedwig this Saturday for the matinee! (I’m so excited!) But I just found out actors don't usually come out after a matinee.I know it’s hard to know what Andrew/Lena will do, but it being his first matinee do you think he will come out to the stage door? And if not can I give the letters I was going to give Andrew/Lena to the Stage Door manager instead? Thanks so much!
I don't know for sure but I think he will. The matinee is at 2pm and the evening show is at 8pm.
During NPH's run, the two Saturday shows were at 7pm and 10pm. Since the show lasts roughly 100 minutes, NPH barely had a break in between his Saturday shows.

ARE THERE ANY REPORTS YET??? ANYTHING??
Yes, report back ASAP! :)
Yeah, Neil just finished, he is probably vacationing somewhere fabulous and far away.
"ARE THERE ANY REPORTS YET??? ANYTHING??"

Is the rear mezz or balcony better for this show?

HOW WAS THE LINE? HOW WAS THE LIIIIIIIIINE?
"Is the rear mezz or balcony better for this show?"
I was in the balcony when I saw it. Row C center. I thought the view was fine. You miss when he goes out into the audience, but other than that it was great.

They changed the performance schedule to matinees?
I knew the 10pm show was at Neil's insistence, but I thought it was a genius idea. A matinee of Hedwig sounds terrible.
The Saturday 2pm matinee is only for this week. It reverts back to 7pm and 10pm next Saturday, 8/30.

What is your main purpose on this message board... To pick fights? To make rude comments? Honestly that isn't appealing, get a grip and if you want to be negative about everything please keep it away from this message board!
^ agree. for the record, we don't pick fights
I was there tonight and am happy to report Andrew did a great job. I saw Neil 2 times, and thought they were both great, but I thought Andrew had a nicer singing voice. Andrew played the sadder parts better than Neil did, and I felt Neil played the funny parts better than Andrew. (Andrew was funny though, and the new jokes he added were great). Andrew can only grow in the role and be even better in a bit of time, but I thought he was spectacular.
It's cute when someone who's been here 15 months gets uppity with someone whose been here almost 10 years.
