She is awesome! This is a great oppurtunity for her to stand out from Disney like Zac Efron did when he began playing Link Larkin in the movie.

I was the barest of aquaintaces with a guy who saw her play Evita when she was 15. I forget exactly how he explained it, but he said that wasn't exactly the truth. If I remember right, I think he said she was IN it, and not the title role.
But I could just be spreading internet gossip. Anyway, he brought it up cuz he said wikipedia was wrong.

Posted: 4/8/07 at 12:16amI saw her on April 3, she was fantastic. That girl is so talented, her voice is amazing. She looked different with the dark brown hair. I'm so used to seeing it that reddish shade that it took me a second to realize it was her. She really seemed at home up there and really seemed to be enjoying herself. She was totally in character, she really can act. There were a few little kids in the audience yelling 'Chelsea' at the end, but she just laughed and waved. She got a standing ovation and was a bit teary-eyed. She should be so proud of herself, her first performance was perfect. She was made for broadway.
