Posted: 4/7/13 at 12:16pmAccording to Rush Report, approximately 20 people participate in the Annie lottery. For those, that live/work nearby, is this accurate? I want to see this, (only by lottery win) in June, and if true, looks like a possibly easy lottery win. Of course, Tony week and Jane Lynch, may make the crowds bigger.

I can't comment on the crowds but when I was picking up my tickets on a Wednesday night in March they had lottery tickets left over.

Posted: 4/7/13 at 1:48pmI can second what egnarotsew said. When I did the lottery in March on a Wednesday mat, everyone who entered got tickets. I was very pleasantly surprised at the lack of crowd, especially during a Spring Break week.

Posted: 4/7/13 at 1:55pmI would say that since ANNIE is doing stunt casting this soon after opening then the demand isn't there. Not sure if GLEE is still a big draw and Lynch is barely on it anymore (nor does she sing). It won't be picking up any Tonys so I don't think that's a factor either.

$40, cash only.
They begin taking names 2.5 hours before curtain.
Winners are drawn 2 hours before curtain.
2 tickets per person.
Seats are partial view, located in the front two rows.
Thanks for calling me bitchy but...
