I am pretty sure that a 3 year old can just learn the words without even knowing what they mean. I doubt she is thinking about parents deserting her.

Whether she understands or not, I think it's creepy to post a young child singing that. Especially when they could have taught her the more upbeat "Tomorrow".

It's a freaking three year old singing a tune.
I think its adorable. I think its creepier that people are reading more into it than they should.

I know..my daughter was a freaking Annie fanatic when she was three years old years ago. She learned ALL the songs from listening to the recording. I think if I told her not to sing Maybe because it was a depressing song, she would have looked at me like I had three horns on my head.

Actually IMO it's a pretty hopeful song. In spite of being on her own, Annie still has hope for the future that things will work out. I don't think that's a terrible message for a 3 year old - or anyone frankly.

I think it's adorable! But then, my Mom probably has a home movie of me singing Annie as a little kid. It's no more disturbing than seeing a kid sing Castle on a Cloud. I think kids just like songs without fully grasping what they are singing about.

Honestly, it was a LITTLE creepy for the first 5 seconds but I actually thought it was the cutest and most brightest things I've seen all months. And to be honest, I didn't think it was that painful to listen to. I definitely think she has a good sense of pitch and she DID hit some notes.

I love when she cracked at that one point and she redid that note again. SO CUTE!
