CJR;
You know I bring this thread up occasionally not just because I like you . But it lets people talk again about Chicago without being accused of posting the same thing again. Know what I man? Anyway.. a mojito in your honor. Whenever you read this.

Regis#156

No, I havent checked Brooke out and truth be told I have no intentions of it. Someone really amazing like say Denzel as Billy would have to come in for me to go see Chicago again and actually care. lol Sad, but it's gotten to the point where I'm not going to see someone I personally care about in that show (ie: a friend) I really couldnt be bothered.
Yeah, 53 times was definitely overkill.

Regis#158
Posted: 11/20/05 at 1:42pmSo, when does Antonio start in Chicago?

Did you look at the original date on this thread or are you just being sarcastic?
This is a very very old thread that we bump every now and then for humorous purposes.

Posted: 11/20/05 at 5:32pmCJR; how much money do you think you have spent on Chicago throughout the years?
Regis#164

Not a lot
I was typically comped and if I wasn't, it was $25 front row rush at the Shubert.

Hey, there's no better seat for Chicago than front row, center orchestra.

Posted: 11/21/05 at 2:02pmTrue. How does their rush work these days. And how early should one be there?

I havent done rush in years (as I HATE the rush policy at the Ambassador) so my info might be out of date but as far as I know 8am should be fine. You have to sit in line, unlike the Shubert where you could get a bracelet and come back right before the BO opens.
The seats are partial view, located on the sides of the orchestra. If you get there early enough and are one of the 1st or 2nd seats, rush isnt that bad. Anything beyond that, IMHO isnt worth it.

At least at the Shubert you didnt have to stand there for 2 hours (sometimes longer, depending on who's headlining and how early you have to get in line for rush tickets).... you could just get a bracelet and come back later.
I cant tell you how many times I got a coffee and then either read or fell asleep in the lounge at the Marquis. lol
