Aside from Marin Mazzie and Molly Ranson being confirmed for the show in January, does anyone else have any information or rumors about who else might be cast?

Diana DeGarmo sounded great in the '09 reading, I'd love to see her stick with it.

Jeanna de Waal is playing Chris, the role DeGarmo played when she was involved.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Thanks for the update! Christy sounds great for the role and I'm sure Jeanna will do a very admirable job. It doesn't sound like she has the same fierce belt that DeGarmo is known for, but she seems a good fit for the role.

I don't know when this starts but Diana Degarmo is now committed to the Young and Restless for an unknown length of time.I think the first episode is Oct 30? She also just finished a reading of Jawbreaker last week. Reminds me of the energizer bunny. lol

I reckon it's pretty safe. Some people on various Carrie Facebook pages have actually claimed a recording is planned/happening. Although I am skeptical that one is already so assured, I can't imagine that CARRIE will go unrecorded again.
