I'd love to see 'Tasia as Hope. Gurl needs to be back on Broadway.

They're already casting this production all wrong, so I guess Constantine Maroulis or Lin-Manuel Miranda can play Billy.
And Countess Luann can be Hope.
I LOVE the idea of Laura Osnes....she'd be perfection!
Gavin Creel and Laura Benanti would be a dream cast.

'Tasia as Hope?
1) I LOVE that she is so popular & well known that she doesn't even need a whole first name!
2) What exactly do you think makes "Tasia" so perfect for this role? Please- I REALLY would like to know what inspired this suggestion!
Or wait- are you just one of those people who suggests their favorite actress for every role no matter how absurd?
Joe, honey, I was being sarcastic.

I don't know why all these powerhousey actress keep getting suggested for Hope. Hope pretty much a nothing, thankless role with a milquetoasty personality. She's basically only there to sing "It's De-Lovely" with Billy and provide a center for the romantic ridiculousness to revolve around.
givesmevoice do you have a link to this information?
It's this comment. I don't know how reliable the information is, though.

Yeesh, talk about cheaping out. Is there any way they could get Harry Connick Jr. for this?
This is him as Fiyero...not terribly impressive
I saw Colin twice as Fiyero. Not impressed with him at all.
I could see Kyle Dean Massey being an amazing Billy
I guess Roundabout has reached their quality quotient with Foster and Grey and are just going to half-ass the rest of the roles.
I think I might be more interested in who they cast as Lord Evelyn, at this point.

Aren't they reviving the 1987 edition of Anything Goes? That gives Hope the lovely, heartbreaking "Goodbye Little Dream" after Billy's arrest. The role's a little bigger in that version to. It's still thankless pretty love interest stuff, but at least she gets a solo song. It's a good one, too, even if it does grind the narrative to a halt right before the climax.
Don't forget "All Through the Night"
Holy sh*t...I went to college with Colin and he is mega-talented. I am insanely jealous but also very happy for him (if the rumor is true). He would be a very good Billy.
"Don't forget "All Through the Night" "
I have nightmares about doing that in about double time with half the song cut out for a high school production because the orchestra director didn't trust the students to sing it. Who did that piss off? Me, the vocal music director that spent a week rehearsing them on it. Lovely song, otherwise.
