Posted: 12/2/07 at 3:57pmfyi, the last three rows of the house are regularly priced at $26.50, and you could move down at intermissions.

kyle. you can catch a glimpse of it here in this video. Looks like it was shot on the day they changed the marquee.

Student Rush IS an option for me!
How much? What time?
What's the policy/details?
I couldn't find it online
It's going to be near-impossible to find budgeted seats once the glowing reviews come out after opening night.

Posted: 12/2/07 at 4:25pmRush is day of, $26.50, and I was seated in the first row of the rear mezzanine which was perfect given the size of the set.

Posted: 12/2/07 at 4:30pmEugLoven: i hope this show is a phenomenal success (as it deserves to be), but im very skeptical even unanimous critical raves will help a straight play fill the Imperial eight times a week ... i bet the discount codes last the length of the run.

Osage is a limited run isn't it? I read that they extended to make up for the 3 weeks lost due to the strike. It is supposed to close on March 9th.

BUG was also in a tiny theater in comparison to the Imperial.

Posted: 12/2/07 at 6:04pmYeah, I believe they are going to have a hard time filling the huge barn with positive reviews. Tourists will not be attracted, but we can spread the word and fill the theater. Everyone who reads this, go buy a ticket! or 5 tickets!

Posted: 12/2/07 at 6:30pmOh, I would see it anyway, I just would prefer to see my friend in it, as it would be the first time I see someone I (already) know on Broadway. I'm so excited for her!

A friend went last night (Sat) and he said that all except the last few rows of the rear mezz were filled. Of course, there has been a rush of business this weekend following the strike.
But, wouldn't it be excellent if a non-musical show could fill a house this size, the house of Les Miz?
Hey, I can dream...

Posted: 12/2/07 at 8:02pmI went today and it was nearly full; I was pleasantly surprised! Hopefully it will be able to sustain a large audience, especially after the reviews come out. I thought it was amazing.

When was the last time you saw a play that elicited yelps and shrieks at an act break?
Flawless ensemble work, but special attention must be paid to Amy Morton and Deanna Dunagan come Tony time.
What a hoot!

Posted: 12/3/07 at 10:20amImmediately after the second act ended I knew Amy Morton would be nominated for a Tony. She gave me chills the entire time she was on stage in the second and third act. Absolutely incredible.

Posted: 12/3/07 at 2:41pmNothing could spoil this gem. I went in knowing that Fantasia makes an appearances in Act 3 (after she finishes TCP) and sings her number called, PILLS, PILLS, PILLS.
