What line are they replacing the George Bush line with?
I know they held a contest but I never heard what line won.
What line are they using now?
Also where are the TDF seats for this show usually located?
Orc/ Front Mezz/Rear mezz?
Are they decent?

They couldn't come up with a new line that everyone liked, so in an attempt to please everyone, they are just closing the show. Coolkid, get your tickets now! For THIS Sunday!!

Quick coolkid! I'll take those Marvelous Wonderettes tickets off your hands for four times what you paid for them!
Actually, yes.
Oh, love, the show could have closed years ago, but the Tony they won will burn forever, won't it?
Let us be glad, let us be gratefuuuuuuuuuuuuul....

For those of you who just don't feel like doing a search:
Sat 1/24 8pm it was "your mother in law".
and does anyone know if the tour is rotating the four of them too? I'm going saturday, so I guess I will find out
blaxx, WTF...I enjoyed the show the first time I saw it. Wait a little while and see who will be saying "I told you so"... And are we really going to bring up the 2004 Tony Awards...? I was upset WICKED lost but not sh*ttng myself over it like some.
My comment is based on facts, not personal opinion.
Love how snarky people get for no reason on these boards...that hasn't changed since I joined in 2004 and probably never will.

ok thats just.. wow.. makes me gag a little lol
But yeah, if what I heard is true, even if Ave Q closes, you still won't be disappointed :)
"Goodman produced “Avenue Q,” a 5 1/2-year-old, ribald puppet musical. She worked with the composer of “Next to Normal,” Tom Kitt, on 2006’s “High Fidelity.”
“I want Tom Kitt to have his show on Broadway, but not necessarily in my theater,” she said with a laugh. “’Avenue Q’ is doing fine right now. We don’t know what’s ahead.”"
