I concur BroadwayGirl. Avenue Q was cute and original and all, but Jeanine Tesori totally deserved that award, not that I think that was ever a possibility. Hell, I would've even been happy with Taboo over Avenue Q. That's not to say I didn't like it, I loved it, especially from the front row, but I felt there were other shows just as original this past season.
There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]
