Hey Everyone! I have just safely returned from LA and now am home sweet home in NYC! It feels good to be back and I can already feel the BARE vibe being back in the city! Its refreshing, wonderful and I feel at home with my family! Well, I read up on what I've missed and here's what I have to say-
Eyes- youre not a whore...I love you!
2day4u and AG ect.- that's terrible that you guys have to lie about all that stuff and I feel so bad! Both of you are really great guys and total sweethearts and don't deserve to have to keep secrets just because of your sexuality...just know that i accept you guys and support you all the way!
All this talk about gay porn...ahhh my head is spinning
I can't think straight (oh wait, I never can! haha) after a six hour flight...I need to lie down...much love

I have just spent much of the night catching up on random post on the site.

My Dad left a year ago. And I have no relationship with him. I go off to college next year and he says that hes not going to pay for it because I am picking a "gay" profession and that Hes not paying for a waste. So here I am with a mom that makes less than 24 a year and high dreams... that I am going to pay for... I dunno maybe he did me a favor and I'll love it more that I'm doing it... NOT HIM!


I am up at 6 in the morning... I know scary... I think its cause I missed you guys so much! Well I have to go get ready for school now... Blah... and I will be checking this in 5 hours... There will probably be like 2 more pages!

Strangely enough, one of my favorite songs in Bare! The way Natalie can tear up that cello (Yes, I just said tear up a cello) and sing that song is just amazing! I LOVE NATALIE!!!!

Good morning everyone. Wow the thread did not get out of control over night. I will internet at home by Saturday...woohoo! Not that I'll have much time to post, so I'll likely be in semi-permanent lurk mode until the end of the month due to work & school.

Thanks for sharing about the cast recording Steve!! I am so excited about it. I hope its available to buy by Oct 13th...although that may be a bit soon I suppose.

*Hugs* to all you who have to hide from your family. I vaguely remember the days of hiding who I really was and what I really was interested in from my family...in fact I still do that. Of course it is much easier and less stressful now since the family is 500 miles away. Of course what I had to hide is nothing compared to what you all are going to so please feel free to come here and vent away because you know the Bare family will support you.

She wasn't actually playing that cello was she? I have vague recollections of her finger work not actually matching the chords at all.

Morning, barees. I spent the entire Labor Day weekend putting together a video of Big Voice for the tech person helping us with the lights at NYMF. I'm only now learning now to edit video and man, it takes a long time when you're going back and forth between two shows, trying to get the best (even though it's only for tech).

I'm just sorry that Bare won't be playing while I'm there. But Damon arrives during our run so he'll be attending. If I find out which day, I'll let you know. We can have a mini-bare night at Big Voice where he gets all the cast members to come!

Oh God, now MoG has more reasons to spend money! Though it's for a good cause, yes that's what I'll keep telling myself. Will I be able to tear MoG and Newcomer away from this table, like, at all? At least she'll get her John Hill fix for the day since she can't see him at the Hairspray concert!

I've finally moved back into residence, and the first thing I did was hook up my computer to the Internet and read the BARE thread! I missed you all. You should see my room right now, it's a mess of boxes (but I did put my BARE window card up on the wall like a good BARE fan....also my Avenue Q window card).

To musicalfandukie and 13: that's awful news about your boyfriend woes. Men are pigs (for better or worse). Don't worry, when I become supreme ruler of the universe, I'm sending your exes to mine the plutonium caves.

About parents discovering your gay material on your computer: I know exactly where you guys are coming from. A few years ago, my sister found my gay porn stash on the computer. Very embarassing. That's why I have a laptop now. Yay personal laptops!

It's also happened to a few gay friends of mine. It's like a gay rights of passage, to have your family find your digital gay material! AspiringGuy and 2Day, do you think your parents are at least now suspicious about your sexuality? I mean, that's a pretty big clue.

The Broadway Flea Market sounds amazing; if only I could go. What does it mean when it says that Michael is on from 1pm-2pm? Is he being auctioned?
